Same weight as a backpack, but holds GIANT instead of just LARGE. Cost a bit more, but worth it for the ability to hold bigger items. I sometimes also like to use medicine bags in place of large bags. The same 6 slots for LARGE size items, but the bag itself weighs .4 while the large bag weighs 1.0. It may not seem like much, but when you have 8 of them thats an extra 4.8 pounds of loot you can stuff in them before you become encumbered.

Actually, if the prices listed next to the merchants on this page are correct, this item costs way less than a backpack. If I recall correctly, a backpack sells from a merchant for around 5 to 7 gp.

This settles it: my dorf warrior is selling all of his backpacks and from now on will be carting around eight of these puppies. (okay, seven... plus the rallic pack)
