STill a newbie is better off saving up 15 to 20pp and buying a axe of the iron back. I just started a PvP server with a Newb Shadowknight. With absolutely no help I was able to raise enough to buy one of these before level 3.

This weapon is magic, and thus a HUGE boon for the lower levels. I can't wait till they are done with all newbie zones

Remember key word is Noob ) Yes the stats arn't all that good but for a true noob they are sweet. I kinda like it )

Finally a decent newbie weapon. There are only a few others like this, like the halfling (or DE, can't remember) rogue weapon.

this is the best one of the newbie weapons ive seen yet.

well for a 2 handed weapon this is good....but remember you are trying to compare this to the other 1 handed newbie quest weapons. they have to make dmg/dly better to make up for the loss of a shield/weapon slot. thats why it looks better than the others.

Best so far that I've seen is the DE caster dagger. It's 5/26 +2 INT.
