I hunted for my Recluse Silk, and found it quite easily near the Windmills. However, if you can't find it anywhere, the clockwork merchants inside the windmills have loads of the stuff for just over a couple of gold pieces.

i found a few recluse silks on one of the merchants in teh windmill =D thanks for the advice toomin

okay, therecluses seem to only come out at night, in the valley near the from if the minotaur cave, watch out for all the elementals wanderign aorund

I've looked everywhere in the Steamfont Mountains still no whereabouts of those yellow recluse spiders. Where can they be found?

They're out there... occasionally you'll see the Large ones in the valley by the Windmills. There are Giant Recluses in the Mino valley near the big cogs just past the entrance to the mino caves as well...

Has anyone found any tradeskill recipes for this yet?
If you were me and I were you, would we still be friends?
Its not used in any tradeskills, its Gnome newb armor quest stuff. Its put in a quest container and "combined", even though its a no-fail combine it still gets tagged as a tradeskill item. Its confusing, but thats how the system works. :)
