dropped in skyshrine while i was looking around... ferget what mob. just a trash roamer
You won't believe how many Blocks of Velium, Large Brick of Velium, Small Brick of Velium, and Small Piece of Velium I have gotten in TOFS ... on the 5th floor off the golems. Much better than Velks and CC because there is a lot of PP loot to be scored there, as well as other loot to sell in bazaar and those weapons dropped there sell for 6 - 7pp each. I find this much better money than HG in RM. In 3 hours I am getting apx. 28 blocks of velium in those combinations. Hope this helps! :-)

bah, i tried the TOFS farming... sucked.. i killed 2 cyclces and got one block.. respawn is long about 20min.. and there is about 12 golems per cycle..CC is way better. I gave this a shot for 5 hours cause i was doing other things around the house and didnt mind the long cycle times right then.. I ended up with 4 or 5 blocks and some peices..waste of time.

The 18 weight blocks of velium do drop in CC. I find them in probably 1 out of every 10 miners. Sell for 10pp to merchant and have sold to players as much as 100pp each.

I've farmed close to 100 blocks from CC, so please don't lead others astray by saying they are only found in Velks. Granted this upset most of the people who try and get xp there :)
These can't be used for jewelcraft. They can however be broken down into smaller velium pieces for other weapons and armors. Also, they seem to drop a lot on Orc Miners in Crystal Caverns. Thats where I've been getting mine without much difficulty.
Recipe for breaking them down?
I have a few of these from Velks. Are they just for the coldain armor? Or can they be turned into jewelry grade velium? Just curious cause it could save a buck or two.
