I foraged 1 in veksar. seemed like a rare forage only got 1 after about 1 hour of foraging while fighting.

My new standard answer for anything unknown found in the game is: It's for a quest. EQ says it on the item, others pass this along when asked. But nobody ever has to be specific.
Either more research should be done before "a quest" is posted or it should just be reported as "a piece of garbage."

I agree whole-heartedly. Posting a "quest" tag with no proof is less than useless.
