dropped off a frost giant commoner at /loc 244, 941, -136 for me tonight.
I would expect this to drop off any of the commoners though rather than this specific one.

Maybe its a quest item.. like those blank leather BP that drop in Ssra or wherever that you use to make the shaded hide armor?
Don't think this is a quest item. Drakkel Wolfhide armor is a common drop off any wolves and I think wolf trainers in Kael. When Velious came out the only dropped leggins, but i guess they felt like finishing up the set. For the level needed to get this armor, same of the pieces are not that bad for a monk. Also this makes great vendor loot for any groups that are actually looking for low level exp in Kael.

Or how about the Lockjaw Hide Vest that has been sloshing around in Oasis for 3 years?
This is a bizarre drop - I hope they revamp it.

You can't compare this tunic with Lockjaw Tunic. This weight 0.1, Lockjaw 1.5, a MAJOR difference for a monk at least.

Who else would want such crap but the monks, who have been excluded by any other equipment that drops because it has 1 int or 1 mana or 1 wisdom. Yeah that's right.
oh well no monk venturing to kael would even think about taking this one. and as for newbee stuff, the spore covered tunic(AC 12 Str +3 Wt. 0.1) found in netherbian lair is easier to get and better, too.

Fungoids in Netherbian Lair on Luclin drop the spore covered stuff. Only the Mature Fungoids, the Fungoid Worker and Fungoids drop armor. It's a rare drop. I cleared the cave 17 times and I have yet to see a tunic so like most other tunics it's a fairly rare drop.
