which is better for bard AGI or DEX?
Higher Dex helps decrease your fizzle rate and learn weapon skills faster. Higher Agi gives you slightly better AC and lets you learn your defensive skills better. Both are important stats you can easily buff yourself with songs, but I believe most Bards value higher Dex than anything else (besides STA).
Dexterity also helps your proc rate on weapons too. Higher dex = higher chance to proc per melee round. At least that's how the theory goes...

Can half-elf or human bards wear either newbie armor from Qeynos or Freeport or does it depend on your guild at creation time.

Yup, you can use either one, no matter which city you originally come from. In fact half-elves get to choose from three sets of armor as they can also use the bard newbie stuff from Kelethin. you might have to do some faction work to get the quests, but being able to mix and match will probably be worth it.

This armour is way cool for a lvl 1, I think all bards with mains should go for the parts. Way cool colour too.

iv been asking around for a couple of day and nobody seems to know where i can get one, so if you have any info on the vial of smoke lpease post it.

I have looted vials of smoke off of wisps in East Commons.
Bard guild in Qeynos now offers a similar line of Wind Spirits armor, and I have seen posts elsewhere that indicate different stats for various pieces (such as DEX+5 CHA+5 for the BP). Going over there to try it out... also has a lighter shade of green for the fashion conscious.
Many of the items used in crafting the Qeynos bard armor can be picked up in the FP area (such as the crude iron ore), so you might want to stock up on stuff before running over there.

WHAT DROPS THIS?
I have killed Darkweed Snakes FOREVER and have yet to see one. Just want confirmation that Verant did not just have something else drop it to **** me off hehe =)

It's Verant logic... 'Darkweed snake bile' drops from giant rattlesnakes in NRO and EC, and is labeled simply 'snake bile.'

OK, I've been massacring both large & giant fire beetles in EC with NO luck finding this. Tried it with 'giant fire beetle leg' dropped from (duh) a giant fire beetle -- DNC. Tried it with 'fire beetle leg' dropped from large fire beetle -- DNC.
Is this another item which is dropping from the wrong mob, like the darkweed snake bile dropping from rattlesnakes?

Keep killin those fire beetles, Large and Giant. One will eventually drop.

It drops from giant fire beetles. The graphic looks like an aviak talon.
