If it was realistic to do at, say level 5, it would be worth the 20m... or if it was 1hb, or even just a rod you could put in secondary.... or.. yea, its kind of crappy...
We got really screwed with this. I don't mean it just being + 2 int ecspecially since they added the +20 mana.. but geez! 11.0 in weight. What in the heck am i suppose to loot? oh yeah that's right.. nothing! I'm too busy holding a 2 hand blunt weapon. *sigh*

Uh, this quest is used to push those newbie Gnomes out the doors of Steamfont and find something better. And to teach them not to lift with their backs. Always bend with your knees.

well im trying to get the staff but i cant remember what smith im supposed to give the stave harpy eye and drakeling scale too.
Maybe verant is trying to implement that good will always triamph over evil...even then that is no excuse for this piece of trash

Goods get Int: +5 Cha: +5 Poison Resist: +5 Disease Resist: +5 HP: +10 Mana: +20 prim/seconday book
Evils get HEAVY 2hb +2 int....
hmmmm.. the book is not deity restricted...I wonder if a necro can loot the pages for the good book and do the turn in...

Again, you can tell they are trying to offer the LESS played classes better stuff. Obviously there are a lot of Gnome Necros. Like look up other less common class/race combos. Human rangers and or Human Necros... or... so on, Halfling Clerics ETC... The stuff is probably better.

Well, if you were being serious about trying to turn the pages in as a baddy there's one problem. It looks like the book is only usable by ENC, MAG, WIZ....

Ok.. the pages of the book ARE useful.. when you are out hunting and there is no bathroom.. you just tear them out one at a time and use them!
The Eldritch Collective Spellbook is MUCH better than this hunk o' junk!
