Phantom Earring of Spirit  

 

The "Phantom" Jewelery are quests interlaced with tradeskills. For this jewelery you need about 150-250 in jewelcraft. Most players who make these have about 180 jewelcraft, including melees who make their "Phantom Rings/Earrings of Might".

Anyway, first you must acquire the correct ore, which can be multiquested. The ore is very rare and you need four per jewelery. Each 4 ores cost 10,000PP to multiquest.

The ores drop in Ocean of Tears, classified as: Ghostly Ores. You then turn them in and get "Enchanted Ghostly Ore(s)" which are used in making phantom jewelery. The other items required are black pearls, this is where the jewelcraft comes in.

You combine the enchanted ghostly ores with black pearls or other gems, depending on the stat you want and viola, your ring.

These have a very high failure rate, my twink wizard with 255INT, 100DEX, 120WIS (150 buffed) and 145 CHA has 1 Phantom Earring of Force and 1 Phantom Ring of Force. He failed 1 time.

The jewelery is very nice, but I have had mixed responses if you may take them off your server.

Legends has alot of player made, no drop, trade skill items from some of the new zones. I am told the NoDrop tag is incase people move off Legends back to normal servers they cant trade the items and dont have to wipe the accounts of these items they earned.
