Personally, I much prefer my aegis of life. Quested it at lvl 44, but needed a little help with live grimrot. So if you are high enough level to get this, do the aegis quest instead. Much nicer result. Any cleric 44 or higher should be able to solo dead grimrot, and recruit any one melee over 35, and live grimrot is toast.
The only downside to Aegis is the spawn time on grimmy.

Compared to the time it takes to find and obtain all of the quest items for these Twilight quests, the spawn time on Grimrot might be considered an *upside*.
