"[Verant] put all this effort into [Legends], and then do nothing for the current servers [and] raise the subscription prices"
Well, let's see:
* Subscription price didn't raise for years
* SoL goodies available even if you didn't buy SoL
* New CT with insanely good 55+ group exp/loot
* Caster revamp (what mid-level cleric can complain)
* No spellbook pre-35 and hell levels gone
* GM events still continue just as commonly
Now, I'm the first to whine about things like the delay on the new UI, delay on the bazaar, etc. But, let's be fair: Verant does give us our money's worth for the cost of a couple McDonald's meals per month. I feel bad for folks like the guilds that took Seru and the Emp, who got crappy loot for the time spent. But, I think that the low-to-mid-to-high end game (but not "end game") are very reasonable and well maintained. I have a wish-list and if Verant starts slacking off I'll be the first in line to slap them. But, adding Legends was a good move, and it does make sense to have a premium service.
Note: I don't play on Legends because I play with RL friends who aren't going to spend $40/m on this game, so don't think I'm saying "I like what I've got, and you can rot on the back-water servers."
