I use them as little lights around the house. Or just make a pile of them and resize a few. It may be possible I am doing it all wrong though. Hard to stick on the ceiling but you can find a spot if you try.
Appears that "Chitterling Wings" have the same stats right down to the no rent component.
These chitterling wings acts as a minor lightsource, not very good though.

I have a Shimmering Chitterling Wing and a Greater Lightstone in my inventory now. The GL is a slightly better light source.

Actually, these wings make a very good light source, comparable to a greater lightstone... the norent version aren't as good of a light source.
