I revisited the oven in Argin Hiz and the two In Plane of Knowledge for comparison. In PoK, one oven is marked New Tanaan Oven, one oven is marked Oven. In Argin Hiz, the oven is marked Oven.

Upon entering the room of Vasser Fayeil, one sees an ascending stairway dividing the room in half. Behind the rise is an opening providing a pass-through. The oven is in this small open compartment beneath the low front part of the steps. loc: neg 510, pos 1099, neg 298 (decimals removed)

You get none of this unless you have the quest active and at a point where collection of Chunky Spider Meat is indicated.

which absolutely sucks. Because if you messed up after tossing some meat to the imp and used up all your meat, then you need to restart the quest
As long as one person in the group has the task started and this step active (doesn't have to be you), the meat should drop. Also, the more people in the group who who have the task, the more meats will drop.
