i got this in WC of my first Werewolf. there were about 150ppl there becaue there was a GM event. the mobs that where spawns are: Minor werewolf, Lesser werewolf, werewolf, and greater werewolf. they dropped mid-level armor for most classes. The Greater werewolfs were quite a challenge to take down sinse they where light and dark blue to me.(i liked the Halloween event sinse its my first event =p)

I was hunting Quilmane in SK today just south of the paw spires. It was dark obviously when i saw an odd figure running past. I coned it and sure enough it was a wherewolf. I killed it fast and looted this necklace. The locket for the pally Ro gaunts also droped but there were no pallys in zone. I didnt even look at it till i was in ec later that day selling stuff to shady. To my suprise the necklace had 5 to all resists. Its going in my resist back pack in the bank for future raid use. Thanks

Question
# Jan 16 2002 at 9:44 PM Rating: Default
Should I use this neck piece or my platinum plated pearl necklace (gm event item AC: +3 Fire Resist: +5 Cold Resist: +5 HP: +15 Mana: +15 ).

I have both and was wondering if the extra resists are better.

I hear folks say the Were wolf spawns are rare in W Karana. Well - 2 days in a row, once zoning in from Qhill and the other on the way to Qhills I got slammed by a werewolf. Both times just as night fall had happened..... what are the chances of that? Wish I had a high level ANYONE with me.... ouch - that thing hurts!

I recently found one of thses during the Halloween quest taking place on. Everquest. I happen to come across a werewolf is WC and easily dispatched it with my 26 monk, (got one health bubble from me). I went imediately to EC to try to sell it and called out a PC on it. TO my surprise people offered from 600 to 800 pp. Never thought it would be worth that much, thought it was a crappy item myself. Sold it for 725 pp. Thats my input!

GM reward
# Oct 29 2001 at 12:20 PM Rating: Excellent
I got this as a GM reward for solving a quest during this weekends GM event.
Quest started in TT at Seb orb with a named Froglok called Prince Hannor shouting for his lost love Leleia in the zone.
Speaking with the Froglok revieled that he indeed was a high elf prince that had been cursed and had been removed from his beloved princess. Bringing them together would end the curse.
(yeah the classic scenario:-)
His princess was to be found in FV and escorted to him. Nothing to it basically.
Just running to FV get the princess make an adequate grp for her protection and move her to TT. No battle incidents on the way.
Once reunited the froglok prince turned into a high elf and the grp that was assempled got some rewards. All rewards were different for the 5 members in the grp.
There was an earring, cloack, bracer, ring and this piece.
I got the best of the items which was this collar. And this is where I am hugely boggled. Quest started in TT which is a 40ish zone. Even started at Seb orb which is a 50ish zone. And then they give rewards that would suit a level 30ish character.
Well... Truth be told, being a part of the event was fun and fulfilling in it self and it would have been fine for me if I had gotten no reward at all :-)And considered the difficulty of the quest the items handed out matched it evenly. But I doubt any of those participating in the event could use any of the items handed out so we would have been better off with just the satisfaction of working for the common good of Norrath.
Anyhow afterall some random level 18 druid in FV was made extremely happy when he suddently for no reason at all saw this collar in his tradewindow :-)

Just running through to ec, happen to spot a werewolf beating up some npc's, and decided to take some revenge. Lvl 36 druid so not much of a fight. Dropped this to my surprise. Kind of a nice find, hope it nets me some pp on A Ro.

I also found one, I didn't know these guys dropped anything but like fangs or claws. I nailed the sucka with my 31 Warrior and he didn't take many Hit Points away from me.

I zoned from Qeynos Hills and saw the werewolf right in front. Took him down with my 29 Ranger without much trouble. Only the second werewolf I have seen in months. Looted this item and didn't even know what it was at first. Pleasant surprise!

To find a warewolf in WK without a tracker is almost imposible. I doubt there is more than one in WK at once. And that one prolly despawn when day light comes. I seen one, once, it was close to the QH zone so I think it spawns there somewhere.

No, the prices on this site are always wrong. Seriously. You won't find out what its really worth until you try to sell it.

...and once you DO sell it (if you do) please come back here and enter your price! Them go to eqprices.com and enter it there as well! This is the only way to get these price sites back in line.

And I think we can all agree - accuarate pricing info is ALWAYS welcome.

This would be a GREAT idea cept for the fact that many items are chagend,ex non lore to lore, etc meaning the prices change. Prices will never be the same in EQ economy therefor its a waste of time.
