Shawl area #3 is marked on most downloaded maps of Iceclad. Around here the Dire Wolves are plentiful. Took me 10 minutes of wiping them to spawn the stalker and loot the 1st map piece.
/loc where I got it at was -949.77, 6415.22, 177.26 --it had just popped amongst a bunch of corpses from my clearing efforts and started to roam southwest.

Helped a Ranger friend with this quest last night. Killed wolves north of bridge for about 15 minutes. My 42 druid played healer while She (49) proceeded to beat and fear. Frost Giants hate me for killing so many of them and chased me to zone a couple of times, but the Stalker spawned and dropped map piece. We moved up to the the upper island and hailed all three gnomes on the hill, then killed the three cougars that never move... and bam! a beautiful Griffon appeared and we proceeded to bring him down for second map piece. Congrats to Fellicia and good luck with the rest.
Over the last 15 months, we've traveled to every corner of the United States. I've now been in 57 states? I think one left to go.
