This is a pretty nice monk neck. Sure, it may not be a big upgrade compared to BAM but this is just slightly worse than Dragon Tooth Collar which is a popular neck item for monk.

I'm a little confused... even with the upgrade to Runneyeye, with how little this is of an upgrade (not scoffing at the extra 3AC OR +5 Str, I'd love it too), does it fit the risk vs. reward of Ssraeshza Temple?? Ss = lvl 50-60, RE = lvl 12-30ish.....

It Drops off the minor named in the Mines that are supposed to drop the Green Ore. They are doable with a 58+ group but you need a level 60 Enc since they come 4 - 6 at a time. They each have a common drop, random gem drop, no drop or Green ore. I forget the name of the one that drops this but it was about 75% of the way back into the mines.
Dunno what it drops from, but c'mon...not every item from every high end zone is going to be uberly uber...there have to be some middle items and so-so drops...besides, no matter what, 8ac on a neck piece is nothing to toss away.

agree, nice upgrade to Bam
BA Medallion has mana preservation 2 on it, which makes it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better for a level 49 or below caster.
