Server Only ItemI've had one on my Ranger since 3rd level when I found it at a vendor in Kelethin for 2pp. I've used it ever since as a main occassionally and as a backup. Its great against casters and shreds wisps. Its the fastest I've seen so far for the price and availability and the disease resist is a nice bonus for a Wood Elf Ranger.

All the Sea Forged weapons are now on the Test Server (I don't play on production servers, but they might be there too.).
Sea Forged Weapons drop off of:
-a pirate
-a skeletal pirate
-a fallen pirate
-a vengeful pirate
-a scruvy wench
Sea Forged are better than rusty and bronze, and certainly better than paying for a Combine weapon since these are MAGIC.
They are also a great way to build up some bank plat in your teens, as they sell decently to vendors:
-the Dagger sells for 5gp.
-the Longsword sells for 3pp.
-the Shortsword sells for 2pp.
-the Mace sells for 1pp.
-the Halbard sells for 4pp.

There are very few PAL piercers, and I believe none so fast as this - so I'd take it for that reason alone. Plus, at lower levels, this is a way fast item to raise skill for the other classes as well.

I posted this and I have to say, the main reason I bought two is that they make your piercing skill rocket into orbit.
They are dirt cheap and drop off low level MOBs (heck I bought em of a vender for 4 plat total), but for the price there isn't much that will help your skill like these.
I went up over 100 points in an afternoon.

This is almost worse then the item you get at the start. But, I guess it has some sort of up. Oh well, could always sell to a merchant for two platinum! :)
