Are you actually telling me you wear that crappy of gear and yet you claim to have 591 AA's? Not even possible since you are only 55 and you can't do PoP AA till 60.
whatever, guess they decided why the **** not, lets just put this on the list of shields that monks can use, i dont know how many shields monks CAN use but i bet you can count em on one hand... /shrug /flipoff variant

I got one of these on the 1st or 2nd day of luclin, when the war was going on before they shut it down for several months.. I still havent found a graphics program i like that can clip and paste and compress those pesky bitmaps or i'd submit screenshots more often.. my monk bank char wears this when she doesnt have 2 monk weapons for sale in her hands its cool to see a monk w/a bone shield.
Regarding pesky bitmaps...for you to find an easy way to do this look for the following software: "Adobe Photoshop v 5.5 or higher" (by far the best out there)or Macromedia "Fireworks". There are others that attempt to do the same (especially MS), but they come up short. Photoshop has an option to save for web and it allows you to pick a format as jpg or gif, png you name it. There are several how to books for all the Photoshop releases.
I posted this item, and I think its first and foremost as a back item this shield is nice! My shammy loves it.
A real pity druids cant use. But there are another back-slot usable shield dropping in HM that we can use. And that one is no drop as well. So dont be depressed, hehe. :-)
you ever pulled in a dungeon? Hell yeah a smart monk will throw a shuriken then slap the shield on as he runs without sow back to his party to take a little less of a beating and possibly lessen nukes (based on the shields resists).

We're not necessarily talking about just using this shield. But Shield of Rainbow Hues, Net of the Deep Sea and the Orb of the Infinite Void are widely used by monks for pulling mobs.
When you are going out alone to pull a mob that can kill you in 25 seconds of beatings, hoping to seperate him from his 2 friends that can shorten that time down to 5 seconds, you need all the help you can get in case feign fails, and a shield is alot of help. The plan would be to hit your stone stance button, face the mobs and hope your hp and resists save you long enough to attempt a feign again. The shields add to your AC, hp and Resists, making it very worthwhile to equip a shield when pulling dangerous mobs.
And anyone who has played a bard can attst to how easy it eventually becomes to swap out slots for other more needed items. It jus tbecomes second nature eventually with the right Hot Buttons.
Now this shield in particular is a little heavy to be of much use to a monk, so I can't imagine many benefits to a monk for having it. But there are uses for shield for monks too.
