To fabricate the Trophy required Mana Battery class 1, you need the mana grain as already stated, and a Battery Case #1. These cases can be found on either Orrthemech's in the Abysmal Sea ship for 2g 6s 9c. Combine in the experimental option of the tool box. Deliver to Marion as usual.

Anyone Know what we are suppose to do with the task step Class one- mana battery on the trophy task. Says create but dont see a recipe anywhere.

This was way easier than I thought it would be. To make a mana battery - class one, go to the bazaar and buy Raw Dark Matter (I got 2 for 6pp). Take them to Skelontorim Orrthemech in Abysmal Sea. Hail him, he'll say he wants raw dark matter. Give him one, he'll return 2 Parts of Dark Matter (or something like that). Put one of them into your toolbox and get 5 grains of dark matter in return. Buy the battery casing - 1 from Skelontorim and combine the grain of dark matter with the casing and you're done. Got it on my first try and improved tinkering to 51 as well.

Combine 1 Battery Casing #1 and 1 Grain of Dark Matter. The Dark Matter is created from Raw Dark Matter that is dropped in Natimbi, among other places. It is given to the Abysmal Sea gnome that gives the freebie tinker quest. Sorry I don't have names or specifics. I actually found my grain of dark matter in the bazaar. I managed it in one try with a skill of 50. I think I experimented, so I didn't see a triv. It was a relatively inexpensive combine, so a failure wouldn't have been a big deal.

today i went and bought a class 1 mana battery to experiment. i'm a iksar monk with hardly any trade skills worked on, tinkering not worked on at all. i used a deluxe toolbox for the experiment. i first tried a Mantle of Stealth but nothing, wrong mana battery. i then put the mana battery, class 1, and Anizok's Gauze Press in the toolbox and combined. Presto! fully recharged! hope this helped anyone trying to figure out how to use these!

I guess they've changed the recharging process recently. You now need to buy a Gnomish Recharging Kit to recharge stuff like the Gauze Press. It's cheap, just a few gold, in PoK at the Tinkering Vendor above the dwarf smiths near the small bank.
Unfortunately for monks, the kit weighs about 3 stone and is only 4 slots with no wt redux. Probably only good for bank storage and periodic recharging during banking visits.

These are available in the POK from Nelin Signus at loc 397, 842. Marked as building 8 in PoK, but is tucked away in the back route...not hard to find. He sells Mana Battery Class One for 12.5 plat.

There is 6 classes of Mana Batteries,eash class is suppose to recharge certain items.Class one throu 5 can be purchased from a vendor in PoK.In all my serches I have yet to find a list of what batteries recharge what items.Perhaps Allakhazam will make one.In any case if someone comes across such a list please post a link to it,Thanks:)

The class 6 batteries are used to make the Anizok devices such as Gauze Press, Minimizing Device, and Maximizing Device. The class 1 batteries are used to recharge those devices.

there is a list for the mana batteries. These are items which are recharged in the recharging kit. There are some items which are "recharged" in other ways too, like the Crimson Ring of Desinence. And there are also other reageants used for recharging Besides the mana batties -- for example if a player combines Infused Dark Matter x2 + a gnomish vanishing device in a recharging kit, it produces a full capacity gnomish vanishing kit.

Not sure, I have heard that they recharge items such as Ivandry's Hoop if combined with a toolbox or tinker box.
