I have a level 40 Dark Elf Innoruk Cleric and I cannot equip this item, even though there is nothing on it that says I should not be able to. I can equip the Helm of Vampire Traitor and others with no problem but I cannot equip this item and get the error message: "your race/diety/class etc...."
Anyone have any idea why?

yes it requires lvl 51 to wear, most of CT high end drop has that requirement.
Somehow I doubt people are gonna farm them. CT is a 55+ zone, raid only. Stats close to Warrior PoG helm btw. Not too bad.

good luck farming them...this zone is no picnic. The mobs that drop this are deep inside. I think the one that dropped it was 58th.

Dropped off a Gelatinous Mass (hope the spelling on that is right). Drops in old SG, he also dropped the slime covered rubicite coif.
We were there roughly 5 hours and did not pop the first four, he finally popped twice in the last hour. We did it with me 3 boxing a 60clr, 60enc, 60mnk and then had a 60shm, 60rog and 60brd. Was an easy spawn once you break the back 5 spawning oozes, i tanked with my monk easy on all the mobs. To break the back 5, have your group invis, get aggro swim up to the ledge - as soon as one warps to you (pathing is way screwed up) then immediately FD. Have a party member tank until the rest reset then fight that mob. rinse and repeat until broken.
There are 3 different oozes there - an ooze (lowest), a swirling ooze (next highest), a pool of slime (hardest, mez with glamour of kintaz or higher) then the named.
