#Anonymous, Posted: Oct 03 2001 at 12:30 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ok I am looking to purchase one on Mith Marr.....now I know we can work a deal out i got lots of high end monk gear to trade......so gimme a tell see what we we can do
Question.....
# Oct 02 2001 at 4:35 PM Rating: Default
If you twinked with this at lvl one does the char die upon putting it on? If so then does it go back to the neck slot when you loot it (ie. killing the char again)?

RE: Question.....
# Jan 04 2003 at 10:41 PM Rating: Decent
Aye, very good point, need to either test it out or find a GM to help for removing it from the equipped slot if it does kill a lvl 1 char. I don't think it would/should kill them though, probably just make it so you take 1 pt of dmg and insta die. But then again, resists can go into the negative, dunno about stats though, so I am really not sure.
Actually...
# Aug 28 2001 at 11:32 PM Rating: Decent
Well actually, Alot of the high lvl people who get the resist gear usually go for full BD, and unfortunately one of them is the Pendant that go on the neck, As the previous post had stated yes it is nice to get all your needed INT in 4 to 6 peices of equipment, the INT casters would find it more suiting to have the INT made up in Slots that do not take up the BD equipment slots. So to sum it up, You would have a BD peice around your neck or something from ToV, HoT, WW, or quested... but not this, thanks.

it is an int caster only equipable item, but it can be cast from INV slot. so anyone can turn skelly with it, but only int caster can wear. and to the person who said that you have well over 200 int and you don't need high int item blah blah blah get high int item, lose other lower int item for resist gear. if you can hit 200 int with 3 items then you have a TON of room to customize your gear. the drawback to losing 100 hps is obvious but i would take it just because of skelly illusion )

By the time your high enough a lvl to get this item you should have well over 200+int. The magic resist is nice but maybe this is more of a roleplaying item more than anything... Just my 2cp

Went on fear raid 2 days ago and we had 2 of these drop, one off of Fright and one off of Dread. Don't think they're ultra rare.

My guild uses this item when we don't have any shring potions to shring the fattys, it is held by our Guild Leader, and just passed around, being skelly is fun =)
its cool
# May 26 2001 at 4:09 PM Rating: Decent
It has nice stats and a cool skele form.. only disadvantage is the -100 hp but no one says u have to wear it. Most people i know use it for illusion. -100 hp may not be much but people shouldn't treat it as nothing, it makes a difference, it's one more hit u can take. In eq every little bit makes a difference.
Help

What is the skelly form good for except for faction and what infactons are increased?
reasons..

I know the necro spell cob(skeleton form + hp to mana regen spell) raises your faction for the outpost in overthere, I believe paineel was recently changed so it is higher in skele form that say.. high elf and such
you also take up much less space in that form than as an ogre/troll/barb/iksar(I know most of those races can't wear this, but remember ANYONE can right click the effect)
and... you get to look pretty badass :p

or cast another illusion :p
I have one of these
# May 10 2001 at 2:50 AM Rating: Default
I have this, let me dispell some rumors. First of all, there is NO faction adjustment when you use the illusion. I can walk right through the cleric guild in Felwithe and and still be warmly with everyone. This item is worth alot more on PvP servers than normal servers because you have no name above your head while in this illusion. There is no cast time on it and you can right click it from your inventory slot (anyone can use it). The 13int is great for my wizard and he doesn't get hit enough for 100hp to make a difference. Its cool to pass around on guild raids (40 skelis beating up on cazic!) but makes it hard to find our corpse with no name over it in a pile of bones hehe.
#Anonymous, Posted: May 03 2001 at 11:14 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) -100HP means NOT a Tank item

tank useable? uh huh...
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 26 2001 at 4:23 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) ummm who let anyone other than a int caster roll on this item, 13int=int caster item?
#Anonymous, Posted: May 01 2001 at 8:01 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) erm let me revise that last post....i meant if it would have to be worn to be casted
#Anonymous, Posted: May 01 2001 at 8:00 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Um...who except an int caster would roll on it? if you look no wisdom class can use
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 23 2001 at 3:03 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) We had 32 people roll on this. It was neat to see the warrior who won it fighting as a skeleton.
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 22 2001 at 6:20 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I said in your inventory slot, of course non-pure casters can't wear. You know where you put your bags?! Don't you feel stupid!
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 19 2001 at 2:36 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) um heloooo newbies.
#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 17 2001 at 9:40 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) or warriors and bards you dumb n00bie liar. cant even lie good, all you had to do was read the stats.

*sigh* children
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 17 2001 at 2:32 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) monks cant even equip this item you swamp donkey
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 25 2001 at 5:57 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I have one of these babys, rare from Fear. The -100hp is nothing with a cleric buff. But other non-pure casters can put this in the inventory and right click it to use the illusion =). My lvl22 warrior and lvl8 bard uses it, hehe. Been offered about 100kpp for it (items worth).
#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 24 2001 at 7:51 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Either somebody washed their armor in the washing machine and the tags blurred, or this is a fake item.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 05 2001 at 8:03 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) If you think this is fake... well...
RE: Going to the pool?
# Apr 09 2001 at 1:34 AM Rating: Decent
not a fake. i have one, i use it for the skelly illusion.
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 06 2001 at 4:46 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This is so fake.I wasted 10hrs waiting for him to spawn to get it then when i went to log he spawned.I was furious when my friend told me this was a fake item.Plus theres only a Ring of Necropotence.May my GM soul stay with you =)
RE: Going to the pool?
# Jan 24 2001 at 8:44 AM Rating: Default
Actually, I have this item. Everyone thinks I'm nuts for wearing it being that I'm an enchanter, but ya gotta love the +13 int.
RE: Going to the pool?
# Feb 19 2001 at 12:41 AM Rating: Decent
Umm.. -100 hp.. no thanks.
I'm a caster and I die too fast already.
Chanter's don't need many hp's when everything works fine, and your mez's stick, and the roots, blurs, and everything works ok, but that is a few hits faster to die.. and I don't much like that idea. lol
RE: Going to the pool?
# Jun 12 2001 at 8:04 PM Rating: Default
mwahaha i really do think a enchanter should take this off on a raid if your tank dies well cause everyone knows chanter's hit points are like 500hp at lvl 30 lol and a lot of raids they hit for 200-600 a hit sigh so dont where this if your a chanter and the mez weres off he will agro right on you =/...
It's obvious you're level 31
# Apr 17 2001 at 4:10 PM Rating: Decent
Because when you're big enough to go to the planes, the typical mob that hits you will smack you for 150+, often double.

It's the rare case that I live if I get below half health. 100hp just isn't that much.
RE: Going to the pool?
# Mar 21 2001 at 3:58 AM Rating: Decent
This is a real item, my 55th wizard friend has it. the skeleton form is fun, its kos to alot of things, so be careful

RE: Going to the pool?
# Feb 26 2001 at 1:45 PM Rating: Default
wait till you win this in a lotto, you'll wear it.

100hp is NOTHING... things i solo at 50 as a mage typically hit for 90-120.. so big deal.. one hit.. and if you are getting hit, you, and/or your group are not playing correctly at these levels. the prestige from having this and such a cool effect are all i need. 13 int is a byproduct.

# Mar 06 2001 at 10:43 PM Rating: Default
you can use this item from the inventory.. ive seen multiple monks using this to turn into a skelly.. thats really friggin badass. id pay 50k for one of these bad boys.
