Best chance to get the drop is killing "a skulking brute". Alot of them spawn inside the caves that lead to the Crypt of Dalnir but they also roam the entire zone.

I can confirm that the little fort with three Iskar Lookouts near Field of Bone zone is the best place.Have never had it drop from giants or goblins so forget about camping the forts.I leveled a shaman/magician duo from 20-25 at giant fort and it did not drop. Iskar Bandit Lord with Iskar Pariahs was also a waste of time. I also got a drop from a scaled wolf pup in the newbie area and with my tracker I got one from the sulking brutes . But it only took about 10 clears of that little fort to get two drops so that seems to be the best option.

I got a couple off Scaled Wolf Cubs at the lake at N2060 P980. I had killed a lot of iksars in the caves unsuccessfully.

Collecting this drop ssssssssssssssuuucked. OMG I was in this zone for hours. Cleared the goblin fort a dozen times, cleared the giant fort a dozen times, cleared misc scattered buildings throughout the zone over and over, cleared the southern iksar bandit caves endlessly, and slayed most every other mob that made the mistake of roaming in front of me.

Eventually did get all three drops I needed from iksar lookouts inside that cave complex. Didn't see any drops from the other thousand mobs I killed in zone between cave respawns. Ugh.

I do think every zone in this quest has mobs that drop the stone considerably more often, as the Iksar Lookout does in this zone, I am certainly reading up on these threads to see which mobs people killed. But they can drop of several different mobs, that is also true.

Drops in Warsiliks. Random MOB will morph into a tree, finish it off and loot this. Part of the Udumbara, the flower of Legend quest.
