Actually this is an awswome SK bracer, 1 its 41% haste in a wrist slot, with great stats, and the extended range is awsome for an sk, why you ask? pulling!

Hmm actually I am pretty sure extended range effect don't extend the area an AoE will cover just increase the range it can be cast at, if it can be cast at range at all.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 27 2003 at 6:29 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) how many clerics do you know that tank on raid mobs pre 50? and distance casting for clerics is great, oh... and alot of our clerics now that they dont have to sit to regain mana quickly actualy do swing those nice cleric weapons that have interesting procs that help. why not swing... personally I would love to have this on my warrior and may eventually but I dont see why you wouldnt want it on a cleric either. I think Bards would get the most use out of it if it effects their AE songs, SKs and paladins are normally in range of a mob cause they are fighting it so extended range doesnt do much for them.

First.....Bards dont get the use of ANY SPELL TYPE FOCUS EFFECTS.....2nd.... Pallies would get the use for Group heals which is very big in the elementals....3rd its pretty much required by this point for a cleric to have a extended range item besides elemental bracer with ft4 would be a better choice for them either way... 70% of people in guilds that are in the elemental planes have a 41 % haste item so its kinda trivial.. It could benefit a SK if he was bored and wanted to go kite around a mob for awhile..enuff said there is all the brain candy you shall need =)
...?

um hm.. If your clerics by now weren't useing a ER4 item. Chances are...your tank has already been dead...numerous times. As for the ae part..it has no effect on the AE at all. It will not extend the field of which it can hit. Only cast'd spells and the range at which they can reach are effected. An i am in a time accessable guild. Yet i'm still using /sigh a fabled fbss (36% haste). So it would be a huge upgrade on me.

My point is. If its a ugprade then its FFA. I could not see this item being singled out to a cleric b/c of the focus effect.
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 19 2003 at 11:21 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) planeable and no 41% haste item yet :-)
#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 20 2003 at 7:02 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Personally Id say this would go to SK/Pal first then bard , would be nice for warrior but no use for Druzzil's Distance. I really dont see this going to a Clr , i think haste would be useless considering how many clerics do you know that tank on raid mobs post 50+
#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 23 2003 at 11:43 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Clerics could use this for the xtra distance it would provide for Heals. If you Melee and are at this stage of the game, chances are you already have a 41% Haste item. Yes, I could see this going to a Cleric, as well as any of the listed classes.

If you're a melee who just entered elemental planes, chances are that you'd be looking for a new haste item to replace the good old haste item you've been carrying around for longer than you wanted (like belt of the destroyer in my case). Bracer is already a terrible slot to upgrade. Getting haste in that slot as well as nice hp/mana would be huge.

Anyone who's tried to complete an LDoN adventure in less than the 90 minutes you get knows that DPS is the key. Why have a viable 100 to 160DPS hybrid sitting on the sidelines when time is against you?

As a battle Cleric, I utilize timely Yaulp's with precision-timed Supernal Light's, Remedy's, and Elixir's in most chaos raid situations (those that don't require a rotation or concentration on an MT, as in chaos mez or chaos assist - like everything leading upto Bert, Saryrn, MM, Emp, Grieg, RZ, SolRo, etc..

Group situations are playable this way based on situation, of course, but since Yaulp6 doesn't stack with some chanter/bst/shammy buffs, the haste on this perfectly good substitution to an Ultor bracer would be key. I can't wait to beg and plead for this :)

Haste Amount

Magelo lists the haste on this as 41%.
