Gloves didn't work.. I think its got something to do with level maybe b'c it lest em make the bracer... I'm only lv 3 so that might be the problem... hmmm
I had no problem with bracers, but I couldn't create the tunic for the life of me. Then, I separated the silk threads into 4 different slots, and presto. If you have trouble making any piece, try that...
Any time you combine anything, in fletching, tailoring, questing, blacksmithing, etc, DO NOT stack the components. EQ counts the STACKS, not the number in a stack. So you could use 4 stacks of 20, your quest would work, and you would have wasted a ton of time and money. 1 stack of four is treated as 1 item. Hope this helps!
Make sure your combining the right things, I got the same error then realized I was using a petrified instead of a calcified. Made my gloves and one bracer just fine so far...
Has anyone had a problem of not being able to combine the said items to create the gauntlets? I have been trying and they say that "these items can not be combined in this type of container". I ended up destroying both calcified finger bones, bone mail container, and tatered glove pattern and got new ones. Still, nothing worked. I have petitioned GM's and nothing. Is there a typo for the creation of these or does my character have a bug???? I really need some help because these are not creating and neither is the coif. Thanks.
One issue I had was that you had to separate the silk threads. You can't have the 2 silk threads in one slot. You must place each thread in a separate slot of the container.
Everyone has this problem, with almost every quest. Read the text more carefully, make sure you have the right components. Make sure your items aren't stacked. Try leaving out one component, see if that works (maybe the recipe is wrong, it is in at least one paladin quest, where the quest-giver is senile). Those are almost always the problems.
