Book Text:

The Firepride Secrets
I share this with you, as I
am only one man with a
devoted wife. Many of you
hero's make your own armor,
or make equipment for other
heroes. These simple
recipes will allow you to
make hero's forge ornaments
yourself. I am only
sharing the secrets for
making a purple shade of
armor, as I still need to
make a profit myself.
You will need to prepare
the ore for plate and
chain, and the pelts for
leather and silk for cloth.
For ore, take any of the
widely available ores
currently used to make
templates used in cultural
armor. Simply smelt it in
a forge with crude coal.

This will make
undifferentiated ore. This
works all the way up to
Palladium Ore, but you will
notice that it is just on
the edge of becoming
brittle, so I cannot
guarantee that better ore
found in the future will be
able to be used for this.
Similar to the ore, pelts
and silk can be processed
at a loom with Tanning
Chemicals or Silk Curing
Chemicals as appropriate
for the material you are
working with. This will
make Stripped Pelts and
Cured Raw Silk. You will
also find that Exotic
Animal Pelts and Exotic
Silk seem to also be at the
edge of usability.
You will also need a simple

socket mount in order to
attach your creation to
armor. Simply shape a
platinum bar in your
jewelry kit to the shape
you can find at the end of
this book.
Once you have prepared all
of your supplies, do not
forget the blue and red
dye, you can make the
ornamentation.
Use the appropriate pattern
or mold, in the appropriate
device. Use the ore, silk
or pelts, and shape it onto
the mount and then dye it
with red and blue dye to
get your purple color.
This will take some skill,
but ultimately is a simple
process.

A special type of cloth hat

can also be made by
following the instructions
outlined above, but using
three pieces of silk
instead of one.

Undifferentiated ore trivs at 100 tested with cobalt, tungsten, and tantalum ores(what I had onhand). All create the same undifferentiated ore, so type of ore that you use to make it does not matter.

http://lucy.allakhazam.com/downloads.html and I always assumed the admin quotes were in case the original post got nuked for some reason, it is still obvious what they were referring to. Just good practice to always do it, and yes annoying on some posts like this. Just my thought on it.
