Kinda? Considering you have to hunt in Tower of Frozen shadow to get the quest item, and then take it ALL THE WAY over to stonebrunt to do the quest, these are REALLY lame. At least the weapons give useful saves, so might be decent for resist gear. The BP is kind of nice for a druid, and I really have not looked too hard at the other pieces. But these are lame. Especially since they are no drop, so you can't even give them to newbies.
Lets hope this is just part one of some larger quest.
