Personally I also use one of these and an EoTS. Mosquito Eye is nice because not many droppable caster items pay attention to STR and AGI, both of which are nice to have--since many nukes will not land on "uber" mobs unless you are in melee range... So I will take all the AGI that I can get for the times when they try to bite and scratch back. And 5 AC and 65 mana is damned nice to wear on your ear =)

I wouldn't pay more than 10k, considering the Earring of the Solstice(LORE ITEM NO DROP
AC: +5 Sta: +5 Wis: +8 Int: +8 Magic Resist: +5 Fire Resist: +5 Cold Resist: +5 HP: +55 Mana: +55) is a much better buy at 15-20k(on Zeb.). Granted the mosquito eye earring and lizard bone earring are not lore nor no drop.

You can buy all the pieces needed for the Earring of the Solstice quest then combine them for the earring. Friend of mine paid just over 5k for all the pieces on the Rathe.

Ivandyrs hoop is also nice but a High Elf cant wear. So I have been stuck with batskull earrings unless I get a no drop item.
Currently I have this earring AND the Solstice earring so intead of having 10int I have like ac10 str5 sta5 agi5 wis8 int8 55hp and 120mana +some saves with both earring ( I think thats correct).
At least they are not 75k like the Mosquito leg earrings are on my server. Only thing is these seem to drop alot Less than than the leg on!

in 30 hours i have seeen the mosquito once ane the earring was the drop

My level 48 Dark Elf Wizzie (Innoruck) can not equip this item.
Check the level req. =) gain a few more lvls
Personally I am glad to see a decent int caster item with both str and mana. I was getting so sick of being encumbered and am now giving up some int for str. With the mana on this one its a great comprimise.
