Hahah well i killed like 30 lightcrawlers in DP, and didnt find any, and nearly got killed on the way to SD. Haha im only at lvl 41 right now, so i dont think i can solo it. I dont think they drop in DP. - note commendation to the drood who saved me...you know who u are ! :grin:

Picked this up off a "Tainted Lightcrawler" in Scarlet.
Don't expect this in DP. I have killed all the named Lightcrawlers in Dawnshroud at least once and never seen anything other than TS armor quest items.
Sold it for 1500pp in the bazaar within 3 days.

Got one last night by accident, and I am 95% sure it was called an Ancient Lightcrawler. It was blue to me at level 49.

Can't remember if it was A Sectoid or just Sectoid but that's who it dropped off of for me in Scarlet Desert. Just keep killing the lightcrawlers until it eventually pops which may take a long,long time. Killed the Sectoid 4 times and this dropped off one of the 4 kills. Rare spawn and claws are his rare drop so be prepared for a wait. He has spawned in different locations so no set spawn point. The best advice I can give you is he spawned near the plateau in various different directions each time.

Can anyone be a little more specific how you got this item please? I've been in the scarlet desert for a week with my 51 ranger killing lightcrawlers and constantly tracking for special named ones but have never seen any. My beastlord would love this :)

got these off a named crawler in Scarlet...think his name was tainted light crawler

I was in Dawnshroud Peaks and i killed at least 70 lightcrawlers and nothing dropped but shells. I dont think these claws drop in Dawnshroud Peaks.

These are teh Same Deleay as a level 50 Monks fists (with no haste of any kind). And are Hand to Hand...only thing with this is you get a few extra stats
That's true, but even though the weight is pretty heavy (two would be 3 stone...a big percentage of our weight allotance) this weapon should be considered if you are way below 50, like me...
I'm currently dual wielding Polished Steel Ulaks 9/27 +3 AC. +3 str some other stats...each weighs a stone though.
I'm not super gamey in terms of stat crunching...9/27 is preferable to a level 21 monk's bare fists, nicht?

This dropped for me from a named lightcrawler, umm I think it was sectoid. In scarlet desert.

only 2 delay more than KD's, plus they have stats

There should be more items like this, maybe it would stop the newer people from wasting their time doing those quests for pp like the stien of moggok and trueshot. Granted there is much better and I would never twink a monk with something as weak as this
Actually, this item would make excellent monk twink gear ... it's not a Knuckle-dragger, but for a secondary weapon, it doth kick some bootah.
Given a choice of what to twink your monk with, you could do a lot worse than this drop from an easily stompable mob (to a post lvl 50). Much better weaponry means much more money ... and much less to spend on the twinkymonk's other slots.
Scarlet Desert = the twinker's Wall-Mart.
