Shadows of Luclin
This is a terrible weapon. By the time you are high enough to get this, you could easily have saved up enough to get a Mace of the Shadowed Soul (150 plat)or even get a group and fight your way through City of Mist to get one. Quests like this are pretty pointless. The amount of effort and the level necessary to get this are too much trouble for what it is. They should make weapons like this for quests in the mid 20s or early 30s. That way, the effort and the reward would be worth it and someone might actually use this item.

Yeah, this is a piece of crap. All the Luclin weapons are pretty bad though, with the exception of the monk stick, that's not bad for a nontwink lower level toon. They should make the Twilight Sea quest less difficult to do, because they are indeed difficult. Some of the pieces require 50+ encounters, and by then anyone could be in the Kael Manor for plate, or Arena for silk/chain/leather.

The twilight quest pieces should get effects added to them. The only reason to get them at the level required is to collect, and nothing is more collectable than clicy items.
A proc on the weapon could at least make it useful to carry in a bag but just like the armor it would be a downgrade at the level you can attain it.

This is a quest. the point ist weather you can buy or camp better its completing the quest and getting the item and for some of us non twinks who dont have the money to buy great gear this is a ok item, every one nows there are better and faster out there but if your questing then you are probably roleplaying the way the game was intended to be played and not and ebay or bazaar camper like some. just my 2cp.

Gorga club 12/23? ac5 FREE Maiden's Eye drop... sit at the zone and say.
"I am looking for a Gorga club if one drops could you please should out the loc ...thank you"
They drop all the time... and the ac bonus is very nice went being a primay tank as a SK.
Is this quest worth it for some people? maybe... why bother when there is better easer quicker

The only reason I would even bother with this quest is to have a complete set head to toe of one type of armor.
The weapon is surpassed by the Ebon Mace, the Shard of Night, the Sword of Pain, the Mace of Shadowed Souls..and on and on, all of which are easier to get in the long run considering the length of these quests and the fact that most SKs are KoS to the quest mobs anyway so you have to have help.

Go for the MoSS.. this thing is a POS, My guildmates got me a MoSS when they where working on the Shaman Epic

Even though Daikon is rather blunt in this statement , he is right. This weapon is a piece of cat sh*t. i mean MoSS is about 300pp on Morell Thule server and thats far easier to get than all that questing.

if this was tradable it'd be worth about 200pp. I got a 15 34 spear for my Sk just for piercing and it procs disempower. now this is better dmg/dly ratio and it has a debuff proc and do you know how much I paid? 40plat, that's it... Don't even waste your time with this quest unless you wanna MQ it for your noob SK. Personally, I wouldn't even use it at lvl 5 as a twink...

Considering the level needed to get the quest items for this, the dmg / delay ratio is ridiculous. 12 damage? This only serves to show that the item designers don't actually play the game, nor do they appear to have any social contact of any kind with the quest designers or anyone with any zone / npc knowledge. Its like they are working in a dark closet in the basement. I was looking forward to doing this quest but I am glad I didn't. I wouldn't have used this at level 25, let alone 45.

might be good for a eruidte who needs str more than int.
not really... i would prefer wep stats on my wep over regular stats. Anyways at this lvl most erudites should have a hero bracer plus like 2 jagged bands + whatever else is on their stuff. Im 40 and i got 139 str and thats cause im going for high ac junk
