Anyone know where these thing spawn? What is the drop rate?

All of the unique bugs, plants, cats and 'hoppers (and some of the bloodtribe and aliens) can spawn in the open areas of the zone anywhere as rare spawns. Hunt here with a group and your kills will increase the rate at which they spawn, but make sure you have a tracker to find them as soon as they pop, otherwise you're just feeding someone else's coffers.
They usually have the luclin quest armor drops, but the armor and weapon drops are in their loot tables as rare drops which replace the quest armor items.
Expect a good day of fast-pulling and careful tracking to net you 0-5 of these items. An AoE group could probably double or tripple those numbers.
If you want a specific drop, you're probably SOL (no pun intended), unless someone's selling it in the bazaar.

I would say that this should go between 500p (a sane price for most of the SD random drops) and 1k (it's worth that much to some, like IKS NEC who have limited +INT/WAIST options, and fewer still with good AC).
Frikkin drones NEVER drop this crap for me ... time to layeth the smackdown on them more severely...
