Has the size capacity of the bag been changed since this picture was taken? The description says it can hold medium and smaller items, the pic says giant.

Which is correct?

BAGS

AS a ranger and loot junkie I loot everything. When I say everything I mean everything, from bat fur to copper(when you could drop it)

So as this is my lifestyle I have some advice for those in need. These bags are obtainable to almost any level 30 player.
<this is from a rodcet nife server point and at max cost to buy>

Light burlap sack 8 slot 60% Lguk 400pp lore
ee bag 8 slot 70% Lguk 400pp lore
sharlok bag 8 slot 25% HH off orcs (named)200pp pending lore
dusty rucksackers pack 8 slot 25% Keasora 200pp lore(anymob can drop)
Hand made backpack 10 slot 10% player made (use for food and stuff,arrows)100pp
Ralic pack 10 slot 85% quest in luclin lore 2k
large soiled bag 10 slot 100% weight Solb 1k

and for the rich and lovers of loot

bag of the tinkers 10 slot 100% sola off merchant 5500ppish (not to sure bought mine off players for 4k (have 2) )

so this bag is nice and compares well with all the rest...
I hope this helps you out, for those looking for nice bags at reasonable cost, with out having to be in uber guilds

<if there is something wrong with this info or anything i posted please excuse>

Something to keep in mind...

I love weight reducing backpacks as well as any other pack-rat Ranger in Norrath but keep in mind what kind of items you're allowed to reduce the weight on when you go to spend all this plat on these items.

Dusty Ransacker's Pack: Can only hold MEDIUM and smaller items. You can forget putting most 2handed weapons and half the armor pieces out there in this one.

Large Soiled Bag: 100% weight reduction?? that's great! Only SMALL and smaller items? Awww... Yup, you'll be getting 100% weight reduction on all your food, more or less.

And this Bonecollector's one is the same way...MEDIUM and smaller. Again, no 2H weaps and half the armors are no no's.

The rest listed here are for LARGE and smaller items or better but it's something to keep in mind when people are shouting all over about this awesome weight reducing backpack they're selling for 400pp so you can carry all the food in the world without worrying about how much it weighs.

just a thought...

#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 12 2002 at 1:35 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Definately a monk item as is all weight reduicing bags IMHO. But secondly I like to see HE/eru/DE clerics get items such as these. If you have ever played one you know exactly what im talking about =)

Not all weight Reduction bags are good for monks. The Evil Eye Bag makes a bad Monk bag as itweihs 3 stones, which is a bit much for a bag, even if it does reduce what is in it. Best monk bags have less then 1 weigth plus weight reduction.

Dude,

Be in a FCFS guild and carry ALL your resist gear with you all the time. All those items, every one on you all the time so when the guild calls, you are ready.

It doesn't matter if you are an ogre warrior or a erudite necro, everyone needs weight reducing bags.
huh?

Not that bad

One of the things I usually look for in a container is light weight. It doesn't make a lot of sense to have a 4 weight container if you just throw words or gems in it! Even though this is 40% weight reduction, this would go below my Rallic pack and EE bag, but I still want one.

Dare I say it: MONK ITEM! :p <ducks>
very nice, rank 3 of easy to get cheap ones

Yep, as you say I've got a rallic
pack on all twinks now and its lore.
I've got an evil eye bag on one twink also
and this will add to the weight reducing
********

All i have on most characters is some kind
of weight reducing bags, even a herbalist for
food and such.. anything helps.

Another nice thing about his is its GIANT size stuff. An evil eye bag is NOT. The only ones I know for sure that are which are at least 8 slots or more and still drop/can still be got in game are a Tinkers Bag (5 k in solb), a Rallic pack (easy quest if high enough and can track) and this.

Fun reason to kill bloodtribe in scarlet for a change. The 0.2 is a nice weight also. I just never feel I have 5 k to blow on a tink bag, especially for twinks.

The Sharalok pack still drops (got one the other day, almost by accident) and it has some weight reduction (25%) can carry giant sized items, and is 8 slots.
