Had one drop of a night terror in morell's castle
Dropped this morning off of a rotdog, by the north tunnel camp, in The Grounds.

Dropped off a daydream in Morell.s Castle today.
Don't even remember all the NPCs but about 10 dropped in an hour all over the zone. Seems like it was from any trash mob.

Dropped from a Dark Scorpion in the Well
Droppin on dogs in Thule house yard. Quite a few for me. I do not have any merc quest, nor anyone in my group. This item drops quite a bit as of today.
This droped from a lizards in feerrott (HoT), look like rare drop.
Finally after many kill, droprate was low at start, but now i got 3 in raw.
So it must be not so rare & must be random drop on trash.

I got one off of a suit in lower house.
I killed a rot dog in lower house, 1st kill I got this. I had the tradeskill task for the mercenary slot (Mercenary Recruitment) from POK. Not sure if I got it because I had the task or because I was lucky.

You got lucky lol, been here an hour+ with task and not got one to drop lol.

not lucky its a huge common drop hunted with a group for an hr and saw alot rot on corpses in feerrott

From my experience you got very lucky. I spent 2 1/2 hours farming in HoT yard where they saw "lots" and didn't see one drop. Maybe if you were mass killing it just looked like it was common due to the numbers. I'm not saying it is rare, but at best it is uncommon; definitely not common.
