Bow of Doom  

 

I'm a Level 60 ranger, with AM1, EQ and a Priceless bow.

On a raid I will be using my bo constantly, were I without EQ, I would be using in the region of a thousand arrows on a raid.

I also have played a L60 warior, with primals, and lots of gear. In raid sutuations, as MT. On ebag of arrows lasted him 2 weeks.

I bow kite in Dungeons for great XP.

Last night BoD dropped for us, a Ranger won it, not a single class other than rangers was involved in the bid.

While it may be true that this bow would be usefull to all the classes listed, it's primary place should be in the hands of a Ranger, more to the point a ranger who does not have BoD, Priceless, Primal, WBoRZ, or BoS.

Once all your guilds Rangers are equipped with them or better, then your Warriors should begin looting them, then the other classes.

Incedentally, I parsed my Archery based DPS vs a far better equipped wariors MELE based DPS, as expected My DPS was around the 130 mark, where as the tanks was around the 60 mark. same mob, same total stats (basically str, dex etc maxed) and same haste. (side note, the wariors DPS with a primal bow, was less than 60)

Now I've said all that, and backed it up, personally if I was on a raid where that dropped, or infact any top end bow, and a Warrior won it, I would be the FIRST to congratulate them.
