Ok, for all you people that don't know about this zone, everyone in the group needs a key.
If you are Under Level 65 take a full group.
The zone is in the Temple in the middle of the giant canyon in the [Over there], it is marked on the default Map as howling stones.
Unless someone has recently zoned in you will get between 1 and 3 mobs on you when you zone in, unless you have IVU up.
If you do not have the hand of glory [master key], Begin hunting for the bottomless devourers [Giant Sperm with teeth] They drop no drop no rent candles, these are the keys to the doors.
DO NOT GO EAST, the stairs to the east are fake, you will fall into a group of skeletons.
[North] is the first key you get.
[West] is the Second.
[South] is the Third.
There is a [Secret wall] at the end of the South WING; it’s on the Left hand wall in the room with the portal out.
It is the wall between the ledge and the door; this tunnel will lead you into the East wing, which is where Drusstilla is located.
The master key is made by combing a [ground spawn from each wing] in [a bag] that is found under Drusstilla feet.
The pieces appear as small bags, there are two bags in each wing, one will be some part of a hand [finger, thumb, arm] the piece in Drusstilla room [links as a pair of gloves].
Place the other three pieces in the gloves and combine to make the [master key].
Each wing has a chance at spawning multiple named all of which Drop semi decent gear for you under 60's, and good tribute/cash or alt Twink gear for those of you that are 60+. A solid group that spends a few hours in here can come out very well rewarded with cash, gear, spells, and Experience.
At 65 the [south and east wings] will still have dark blue mobs, its great AA Experience.
And the map that Alla has posted on the spawn points of the [master key] pieces are wrong, they have them mixed up with the other sets of ground spawn in the zone, which I'm not quite sure what it’s for. Hope this info helps, GL and safe hunting.

Killed him solo as a 59 Druid today. No problem even as a non-pet class. Yes, the spiders see through invis more often than not. Just go slow, killing as you go. Staight ahead from zone in to "broken floor room" passage below to the right and slightly behind is the one you want. this passage "did not" show on my in-game map. Used IVU potions after this point, a must imo. These mobs are green but with enough HP's to be a real pain in a gang. A bit of trouble finding "church". Just keep heading "down" after you come to 5 towers. Slowly killed mobs around him. He burnt a lot of mana trying to heal them. Then killed him from within the church, just stayed away from the side with the hole in the floor. He cast like crazy, nothing stuck, my magic resist was 162. Dropped one "fang" and the Blade. Have fun

Confirmation of the Key? 1 key = 1 group entry?
# Sep 28 2003 at 6:43 PM Rating: Good
There are too many conflicting posts here.

One person claims that they needed everyone in their group to have a key to gain entry.

Another person claims that only 1 person in their group needed the key to get their entire group in.

One person claims the entry to the zone is a circle of stones; yet another person claims that entry to the zone is a red sphere, much like Old Sebilis...

So which is it?

Was something changed after the recent revamp that seems to have people confused maybe?

Last time I went to Charasis(Some time ago) The entrance was a red dome which I found in an underground area accessed from the chasm in The Overthere and everyone did need a key each. The dome looked exactly like the entrance to Sebilis and did indeed have a few Skorpikis around it.Where is this ring of Stones?Only place I can think of even vaguely resembling that is the cave in Plane of Tranquillity that takes you to various Planes...
Sir, I believe, as admamant as you are-you are mistaken:P

do you need each person to have a key or does it work for everyone if one is had? I know rogues can picklock but only they can get it using that

Unless they changed it recently (maybe to get more people hunting there), every person in the group needs a key. The entrance from OT looks just like the orb for Sebilis, it is inside the skorpios corridors, and you can reach it invis. However, the skeleton spawns just inside the HS entrance see through invis, so make sure your group zones in together and your chanter or paladin has their AE stuns up.

The key is relatively easy, it simply takes patience.

This info is incorrect I was transported in alone while leaving my entire group standing outside next to the red sphere...every member of the group needs thier own key to get in, were it not for a nice druid who ported in soon after I'd have never got out of there...

No, my info is correct, your info is incorrect: The entrance to Charasis is a circle of stones, NOT a glowing red sphere. The glowing red spehere is Old Sebilis.

Yes, for Old Sebilis, everyone needs a key. Not so for Charasis.

You may be thinkin of once inside to get to thru the different wings. There are no rent pieces inside which are keys to each wing and also the the quest for the master key which only one person need to unlock.

The red sphere I clicked on is in the scorpion pit in overthere in one of the temples, it look similar to the sebilis one while not identical, no circle of stones about it...upon clicking on it, I alone was teleported into a square room in Howling stones, leaving my group outside this sphere is not to Sebilis, first time I died...thinking maybe everyone needed to be closer on my CR everyone stood on top of me and same thing again, just I was transported in alone at this point the druid came in and ported me out, have yet to try it again after that pure luck got me out...the way we got there was to take the OT book from PoK, using selo's song of travel group invis/selo's/levitate and see invis moved into the scorpion pit avoiding all scorpions, invis by them all to the entrance at which point I touched and both times sucked in alone group couldn't possibly get any closer they standing on top of me, if it is true only one person needs a key only thing I can think of is maybe you can't be invis.. have to clear room first then go in while everyone is visible
RE: question

I haven't tried either way, but did you actually have the key, or did you pick the lock? I remember reading somewhere that you can pick this lock, but only the lockpicker will be transported inside, not his whole group.
Eek!

The passageway to the frog you turn the Jade Prod and Fang into USED to be guarded by lv 20 frogs. Now there are several KOS flying sperm there that con yellow to lv 53 and hit for up to 240 and kick for 58.
Also, the quest frog is no longer there either. Anyone have a clue as to where Verant moved him?
yeah

Great place to exp. If you spend a solid 8 hours there killing constantly, everyone will leave with a 5kish item and several lower end items like golden bracers and kylong pieces. Gems aren't as good as sebilis, and there is a major harmtouch factor, but other than that this is the best exp zone in game. It's kunark so nothing has many HP, yet delivers juicy exp.

---If you are over level 50 and particularly over level 55. Charasis (on my server anyways) is always empty but the XP there is SICK, particularly for a group that is over 55... Some decent items drop in there, but I found the XP the real attraction every time I've gone...
