Gyro Core: Druadic (1) u need this and scalded Armour. The core drops only in raid instances - so is unobtainable unless you are a main in a raiding guild
my understanding of the 1st post; is that single group can kill mobs who drop equivalent Armour in sod. or at least would be equivalent with tear 4 purchased items and essences - the latter drop and rot

Look at the SoF tier 4 Group with all 4 essences,.. same focus,... same clicky,... Now i want you to look at the Relentless Arms,.. another Fire focus but 70%,... how in the world is the BP goin to get a lesser focus AND a fire focus at that?! /boggle Not to mention this clicky base damage is 495,.. the Anguish BP base damage is 600,... i can see the SoF groupable one having a lesser clicky then a raid one,.. but not the raid one vs a clicky more then a few years Old. awesome itemization planning!!

I agree, it's insanity. Each of the BPs you mention have the same duration, the same resist check, and the same mod rate... although the Anguish one has HALF the recast delay, and a higher DD. Again, as you say, this BP uses the exact same focii as the groupable BP from collecting essences from cryst (aka SoF T4 BP). As for the focii, the Anguish BP is the oddity as it is for a cold-based spell, and all our others are for fire.

this seems made up... where is this found?!? wow
I am fairly sure it is made from Ancient Scaled Tunic and then upgrade with power sources kinda like the lesser armor called Alloy-Linked.
