It Does exist, there are already a few people on Tallon Zek that have it. (or maybe it was passed on, not sure) I heard of at least 3 people wielding it.
As of this writing the 'Drathor Great Hammer' does not exist in Magelo's item database. Nor is there any item with Drathor in its name.
I'm one of a handful of Magelo Advisors who has access to Magelo's database. I also monitor what gets submitted daily. I just did a few searches for this item there and they all turned up empty. Either this item is fake or the owner(s) of it have yet to update the database with the Magelo Eq Items program. I urge the owner(s) to do so now.
...everyone is shouting "MONK ITEM" as soon something with low weight is found...so im shouting UBER PALADIN WEAPON on this one...doesnt matter if you have all the double riposte and stuff like that...med to full and use the nice chain-stun-tactics...cast 2 or 3 stuns...land a hit for a few points dmg, cast 2 or 3 stuns...land a hit for a few points dmg...repeat...he he he he...best suited for a paladin...then add the slay undead 3 and go find a high lvl undead creature...as long as the stun is landing you will kill whatever you fight...at least as long as mana isnt 00m...he he
This is a pretty cool weapon. My shaman wouldn't mind picking one up to play around with while soloing. Root the mob dot and popping in and out of meele would act like a mana less DD. Have to practice a strategy like this though. Very nice weapon I dont have a high lvl meele yet so I really dont know about the effective uses of this in combat. Anyhow grats on finding this hammer. Maybe someday if I can get this Ill be able try out this root strategy with this thing, but not any time soon.
Imagine this thing in the hands of someone who rarely gets close to his opponent, like a druid. Hit, run, cast, med, hit again. I believe the delay is worth it only for non-melee types. At the level you'd have to be to get the thing, you might not want it anyway, but this thing is droppable. Imagine this in the hands of a level 15 Ubertwink from hell on Sullon Zek... *shudder*
well, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. i was wondering what it would be like for casters too though, like.. if they could cast a spell that takes 6 seconds to cast in between swings without it adding to their delay. it would be much better in the hands of someone with riposte disc, of course... but if i see one in bazaar for an okay price i'm gonna snatch it up to fool around with for a while =)
Only for non-melee types? This kind of weapon is not what an MA would ever use, certainly, but is ideal for off-tanking melees. They might be warriors, but more likely would be Paladin or SK. All who could use it would have fun with it, certainly, but for effectively helping a group a high-skill 2HB off-tank might make the most sense. Whoever that might be for a particular guild.
Not want it? I would love to do this kind of damage in a group situation (I would not use it solo) and know I'd never get aggro.
Ranidan, you must be stupid or new to the game. Ever hear of haste and critticle hit? try some disciplines. Witht the lvl 60 beastlord or 58 warrior disc you will have a damage of 296 plus the dmg bonus. just imagine a crippling blow with this disc on
Isn't there a damage cap, seems most items can't get decent damage use till you are 20 plus, prolly better to use a jade mace or something like that to twink. Now if I were really wanting to twink I would go with a horn of hasgra or something like that.
Never mind how much it weighs, just make sure you have a Tinker's Bag to lug it around with you..
Could u imagine a monk with Celesial Fists + some ubah haste item + Chanter's haste + Inner Flame = UNBELIEVABLE DAMAGE!! This weapon would so own!!
Besides if a monk is getting the right equipment, his whole suit would weigh about 4 stones, tack on this weapon and a level 60 monk is still below his weight limit :P
As far as the autoriposte idea goes, it'd be fun to watch, but a lot of the high end stuff has over 1,000,000 hps (So the idea about killing Sleeper aint gonna work since its probably got 10x more than a lot of high end stuff hehe)
What would be genuinely good to see with this? Warrior + Speed of Shissar + Frenzy + Fellstrike disc = Uber crips =) A warrior on my server has hit for over 1800 with a Twisted Steel ******* Sword (53dmg) so imagine what this could do? =)
Sure, warriors can get big crips, but what about paladins with Slay Undead 3? Level 3 Slay Undead allows paladins to get slay hits for over 100 times the base damage of the weapon, allowing a melee hit for almost 8000 with this amazing hammer.
But yes, this would be the ultimate weapon for an auto-riposte discing warrior/monk; significantly better than a weighted axe: Modal damage for weighted axe at 60 is 110 (from damage bonus) + 2x45 (base damage) = 200 Modal damage for Drathor Great Hammer at 60 is 84 (supposing the damage bonus at 60 for 95 delay is 73 as in the screenshot) + 2x74 (base damage) = 232 So the modal damage on the hammer is better on ripostes (delay independent), and better per time on auto-attack because of the higher modal damage and also lower delay. (disclaimer: modal damage per delay isn't the only important thing to look at when comparing weapons)
All in all, I'd love a pair of these hammers - one for both my monk and paladin. - Joim
As has been said already, this item will not fetch a price near 100k. This is ONLY a "fun" weapon that people may use to test their riposte discs on, and for that it WOULD be fun. I imagine that it may sell above 20k though, but I really am unsure that there would be a market for this item should anybody be interested in selling it, anyway.
God , you could never make a bad hit with it unless you miss with this baby. Even if you were supposed to hit for 1 dmg you would hit like an ordinary wurmy at lvl 25. Add it with a nice critical or crippling blow and the 74 damage and you'll see vox die with one guy if you add the autoreposte. Hehe, imagine 60 tanks using this agains Sleeper, it makes guys like him sweat!
Seriously, this is a great tank weapon when your not needing to handle aggro. You might get aggro after a swing though, I've seen hits for 200 from a 41 51 axe before ;) The only reason faster weapons hold aggro is because they build aggro faster, but no more then a slow weapon. So this is great damage output but don't count on it for holding aggro ;)! So consider it before everyone dismisses it as nothing.
Indeed, if this is really out there, I'll never duel a Monk again. Oh, and the riposte damage would be magnificent in the right situation... truely mindboggling that this would be in game on that basis alone.
It would also make a cute Cleric item for when they get that melee itch =)
You didnt quite understand the original poster...Anyways, a monk would never use a weap that weighs 15.6 but with disc autoriposte, you would be replying every monk hit on you with a hit from this awesome wep on the monk =P This is truly a great weapon, I hope I can add it to my weaponry soon =D

Its a .77 ratio... if you use your crit-disc while wielding this you will prolly land 1 hit, maybe 2. Waaaaaaaay too slow to even consider wielding it as a 'serious' weapon.
One swing every 10 seconds ? lol
This weapon is about equivalent to a 37/47 weapon. Nothing more than a Toy for crip landed bragging rights =p
When it comes to 2 handed weapons, there is more to life than just ratio. The damage bonus on this is just huge. I know from experience that the damage bonus can make a slow 2 hander match damage output of a faster one of the same damage. It has a very profound effect on the modal and min damage.
That said, I wouldn't use this in luclin. The incredibly high ac on the mobs there make slow 2 handed weapons nearly useless.

Ok to heavy for a monk item for whoever said this. Plus whoever can use this is gonna use it, not a specific class. The priest classes would least benefit from it, but that would rock to hit with this thing as a priest class. Whatever class would get it would use it to its full power. No one would let it lay in the bank and just collect dust.
Look at the guy wielding it. Buffed to 5k hp and 1300ac. Thus this guy is a pretty high-end player, from my perspective. Looks like he's wearing Warlord. My conclusion is that the mob that drops this piece is a pretty tough dude. Gratz to the people that got this item (which would, like many people have mentioned, would be so cool paired with a high 2hb skill and the autoriposte disc. For extra sweetness, throw in a couple ranks in double-riposte AA skill. That = teh own. = )
