This item is so lame for level 45 i honstly cant belive they would put it on a level 45 mob .
Varient really needs to upgrade loot badly most of the drops for this zone can be gotten in lower level zones off mobs in there 20s ..
The only reason peeps even come to the zone is for 1 or 2 different mobs or to get a OS key how sad is that ,,

I solo'd this nightclaw raptor at lvl 51. Contrary to what is listed up above it is not druid useable just look at the picture below. I know i was mad as **** just because i ran around for an hour + on this thing and it gave me the beads lmao that really is a joke. ok to tell how i killed this mob, i tried 4 times before finally catching on to what was happening when i was fighting it, it would resist my roots and waste my mana which currently my wiz is only 148 Yes 148 =) i know working on it. ok anyways i accidentally found the solution dont use the root use dot and snares only ! run and med everychance you get watching it coming and move recast as needed it works takes a very long time one in which i will never do again. It does not cast any spells but does have an enormous amount of hitpoints, I would guess 10,000 or so. I have some great pictures of this thing i took while fighting and after battle, now to chew illia out "a little bit" thanks for posting this, thanks for takeing the credit when i sent you the info on it on Feb 17 and the pictures as well, if you dont see the picture of the NightClaw Raptor "illia" does have it i sent it to them, anyone wanting to see the proof inquire to me at, a1sportscard@aol.com

THIS drops off of a lvl 45 mob?! And yes if the Nightclaw raptors are like the raptors in the Overthere then there nasty. Why not make the risk worth while? this item should be dropping rarely off of Lvl 15 to 20 mobs so Younger players arent so eager to get twinked.

There are 2 dark elf cleric NPC in OT that wonder around. They are waiting for "thier" master to return. They appeared within the last 67 monthes or so. Possible part of them, although I can never get past the 3rd segment before they tell me to mind my own business.

We were in TT and I saw Nightclaw on track. in 10 levels here I have never seen him so of course we pulled him. A nightclaw was a tough customer!

Our 50 SK, 52 shaman, and 51 druid spent more than 20 minutes killing it. Had to resort to some sad running it in circles while we took turns medding. Many many hit point, this has all the characteristics of a quest NPC. I think there is more to come on this one.

perhaps this item is part of the Beastlord Epic?

I'm thinking these are probably for some new Quest out of The Overthere... since those are the four races that are primarily able to have good faction there.
