This Sepulcher is a dark place. I now consider myself a fool for sneaking in here. To be truthful, I knew I was a fool even before coming here. But here I am, and so I shall continue to explore. Before my next move, it seems best to write down what I have learned so far.

The Sepulcher must once have been amazing. It may even be so now, it is difficult for me to appreciate it, what with all the running and hiding I've been doing. There are...things living here. No, not really living. They appear to be ancient priests of some sort, no doubt kept alive by the hideous habit of drinking the blood of...I must admit it, the blood of gods.

I have heard them speak, though their language is so old I can only understand one word in three, of their rituals. They drink the alsa thel, gods blood, that pools in the Sepulcher. It is what has allowed them to survive so long after having been buried here with their gods. The madness of centuries trapped in this place has forced them to recreate the form of their worship. Frankly, everything about it scares me to the soul.

I have glimpsed into some of the lesser temples or tombs, I'm not sure which. I have seen relics of several gods there, and it is clear to me that they all hold some sort of power. I can no longer choose to believe that our gods are not real. The legends of their sacrifices, their death at the hands of some darkness, their fight to bring us safely here...all of that must be true. If I escape this place I will need to re-evaluate my life.

I must get a glimpse at least of the interior of the Sepulcher. I must see the place where three gods are buried.
