Are there minimum requirements? Like, min number of members?

I read if you have less than 10 members or don't pay the upkeep they shut it down, not sure if that's still true, but it once was.

I found on Tunare Palatial Guild Hall by Shadows of the Grave Guild located at 200 Terminus Heights. Good Luck.

Definitely a challenge to place this massive "object" onto a guild plot. At first I thought perhaps some guild plots can't handle the palatial size, as was able to place it as a test on 200 Guild Way but not on 200 Brimming Way. The reason this concerned me is the Guild Way area is furthest from the Sunrise Hills "utilities" (the NPC vendors, the zone-out, etc.) and also has the fewest number of housing plots in the immediate area for guild members to occupy. Brimming Way is closest to the utilities and has a lot more housing plots. The guild plot at Brimming Way is inside a small valley and the palatial hall stayed red no matter how I tried to place it. The message was disconcerting too as it said something like "You cannot place this item on this real estate." But ultimately I determined this is the standard message for wherever you're trying to place it, if you haven't managed to set it down "just right." For palatial guild halls I don't think there are many different ways to place it. I fiddled around for about 20 minutes, spinning and moving it about and the instant it finally turned green, I dropped it quick and intend to leave well enough alone!

I do wish the guild hall entrance wasn't on the side opposite the valley entrance, but I'm not pushing my luck! Ultimately it doesn't matter as guild members will be teleporting to the guild hall rather than entering thru the front door.

Frustration reduction

Ok, frustrating several hours because no one seems to cover the process.

Buy the package with or with out the guild writ which allows guild oriented housing. I bought mine with, and I did it from station cash. You can do it with plat if you like. I also got the palatial on the theory that I might eventually need the room.

Goto your neighborhood. Or someone else's... What you need is an empty guild hall plot. There are notes out there that says that all neighborhoods have 4. I don't know, I found the one at 200 whatever way in my own neighborhood. It was up the slope of the hill.

BEFORE YOU START - Make sure you have 4 empty upper level inventory slots ... if you ***** that up as I did you will have to fumble about a bit. Because the opening of the package will get you 4 new containers with stuff in them. If you screwed up as I did, you can hand them to the lady by the gate (or perhaps other NPCs) till you can clear up your inventory so that you can take the contents of the 4 bags. I did that one by one, opening the bags and transferring the content to my inventory one at a time. It is best if you can put all this stuff into 100% W/R bags as it all weighs a ton plus...

Buy the plot, obviously you will need some cash on you to do so (which was annoying as I don't normally carry cash), anyway, the plots are not all that expensive... something on the order of 20PP ... once you have bought the plot, you can place the hall... I cannot even give you a good hint as to how to do this, though best recollection I was standing near the entrance and suddenly the hall turned green as I was waving it about, so I dropped it in place while my luck was good. So, there is the key, buy the plot FIRST, then try to place the hall... once you have the hall placed. When you move into the property you can open the management screen and put some money in escrow to pay for the plot. Cost seems to be 2P 1G ... or some other alternate currency like chronobines... in any case 5K PP if I did the math right is like 4 years rental (the management screen says 340 weeks) ... so not all that expensive after you have bought the hall itself.

If you got one of the complete packages it gives you a basic staff and most of the stuff you need to make a decent place. Enter the hall and start to place your items the one thing it does not give you are the shabby doors to the guild lobby. You can buy them from the lady guild hall equipment vendor outside the marketplace in the housing area. Lazy person that I am, I put all the stuff in the first hall except for the trade skill stuff which I put into the side halls.

of course, if you do not like where things are, you can move them till you do like them. I bought two of the doors and placed one on each side of the door going out. Also, the other nice thing you need is a parcel delivery guy, which you also will have to buy ...

If this helps, post a note, if I missed something, let us know with a post so others don't waste 2-3 hours as I did ...

And as this is a different items, this is not a duplicate post either.

As was stated when VoA came out and the new guild plots were added to the Sunrise Hills zone, Access to the Guild Halls placed in a guilds village can be done with the left guild hall door in lobby.
Another feature that is added to these halls over the regular guild hall is that A friend from another guild if given access by means of the plot management window can also enter the new guild hall.
What zones can you access this from?

Are you able to access this type guild hall from the guild lobby? or must you zone into Sunset Hills? be helpful to access it from regular Guild Lobby. Any info would be helpful, t.y.i.a.

13 rooms and a basement. Sliding doors to 8 rooms, a grand hall, a foyer, and plenty of room for everyone. I believe it holds 2000 items.
