Both raising and fixing this faction is a pain! The best way is to run the delivery portion of Innoruuk Recommendation. This means /say devoted to Innoruuk to Saxarivza Zaxun in East Freeport (or Savarixsa Zexus in Grobb) to receive a note. Hand the note to Perrir Zexus in Neriak Third Gate.

This will result in the following faction hits:

Repaired via:

Priests of Marr: A mix of Paladin Message (just milk portion); Assist the Great Xelha (just bone chips); and Creepy Concerto (to repair the damage that those two do)
Clerics of Tunare: Muffin for Pandos or Bone Chips (Felwithe)
Priests of Life: Werewolf Hunters
Primordial Malice: Dark Elf Reaver and Dark Elf Corruptor

go to east freeport and find Saxarivza Zaxun ( at loc n1500 x p333 x n50) in the south western 'bad' portion of the city ( next to Marv Orilis the Necromancer guildmaster). Say "I am devoted to Innoruuk" ( there may be a minimum faction required). Saxarivza responds with "My brother requests your presence in Neriak at the Spires of Innoruuk. Take this note with you, Shuraz. It will inform Perrir of who sent you." You will receive a 'note of recommendation'. The note is lore and no trade. Head to Neriak Third Gate and go into the Temple, stay to the right, find Perrir Zexus and hand in the note. it raisies priests of innoruuk and king naythos thex, lowers priests of marr, clerics of tunare, priests of life and primordial malice.

Well he's in Nektulos now

I have spent about 45 minutes running around 3rd Quarter looking for Queen. Where is she? I have looked all around the Necro Guild, since I saw someone here mentioned she is a Necromantic kind of gal. Still, this is frustrating cuz I have a quest I'd like to finish that involves notifying her of something.

Hail,
As of the patch of June 5th an NPC has been spawning in ocean of tears. She is a necromancer of approximately 45. She drops Blackened Mithril Chain, a lore no drop druid only necklace that is 10mana 5sv magic. She gives the same factions as killing Gix in WC. Yet we can find no information her. Anyone ever run across her before the 5th?

Queen Christanios Thex and King Naythox Thex are both followers of Innoruuk, this is confirmed. I went in with a high elf enchanter under tunare, casted a few spells and the NPCs on this faction killed me.

But for some folklor, Queen Christanios Thex always had more interests with the dead and King Naythox Thex always had immense interests with practical arcane and swordfighting. Their seperate interests spawned jealously inside them, they always were competing and holding massive arena duels.

Queen Christanios Thex always won, because of the immense and unknwon powers of Necromancy. Finally though, King Naythox Thex won and she was outraged, she acquired highly effective spells of necromancy and attacked King Naythox Thex.

Thus began the Neriak Revolution. The city was split, as most of Tunaria (Antonica) is, such as Qeynos and Freeport, the only few cities that stand strong is Grobb, Oggok, and Halas. Anyhow, Queen Christanios Thex went to the Shadowknight/Necromancer guild to reign there, and King Naythox Thex, I am not sure where he is.

They both are very contriversial and most require the slaughtering of their enemies, such as the followers of King Naythox Thex to please Queen Christanios Thex and vise versa.

If you are a dark elf or evil race, don't even bother with these, you are fine. If you are a good race looking to gain access to the many Neriak's then I suggest you do the hard, and long quests to raise both factions. Even dubious is ok, as long as they don't directly KOS you.

I, myself, being a loyal servant of King Tearis Thex, ruler of the elves, and of the elven crippled my Dark Elven faction. I spent many hard weeks gaining all the various Neriak factions up. I am now ally with both the Queen and King and the rest of Neriak.

Anyhow, just some information on them both.

Hopefully you can answer (some of my) questions:

1. Where can you check your actual faction with the King or the Queen?

2. Are there any NPCs that are on that faction only who would be KoS?

3. Is it important for me (Necro) to keep the Queen faction up?

I have a similiar goal than you - to be ally with several kind of groups, one of them are the "Keepers of the Art". I have the possibility to regain faction with the dead, but trying to raise the Queen faction will result in a negative Keeper faction... Maybe the negative hit is not as large as the positive hit for the Keepers doing the Necro quests...

Queen Christianos Thex and Mayong Mistmoore had a fling long ago. The king found out, and thats when the Teir`Dal split into the two factions.

There's only one NPC in the whole game that's on KingAythoxThex faction: the new Dragoon Szorn at the teir'dal camp in Lesser Faydark. Perhaps even more will be introduced soon. Killing Szorn will lower this faction quite effectively, and doing lots of necro quests will lower it too. It's not an easy faction to raise -- unless you want to kill teir'dal sk's and necros (which will cause more faction trouble than it fixes), killing the mistmoore guard is the only way.

Also of note: the king-allied guilds (rogue, warrior, cleric) all have NPCs with quests at that camp, but there are no queen-allied NPCs at the camp (necro/shadowknight). The spurned haven't shown yet but it's well known that they oppose the necros. The king vs queen politics could be behind some of the recent changes, as well as the return of Lanys T'Vyl and Firiona Vie.

As a bit of interesting knowledge, in game the Dark Elf King's name is actually Naythox Thex. I have seen him at GM events, and even have some screen shots of him. Don't know why the faction is called Aythox Thex... Might have been just a typo gone awry, though I've heard there's theories of two Dark Elf Kings.

Ok, I finally figured this out on my own. Neriak has King Aythox Thex, who rules over the Spurned and their allies. Queen Christianos Thex rules over the Dead and their allies. I bet the posative faction Dark Elves are alliened with the Dead.

That cleared things up, at least for me it did =)

Aythox Thex's followers are not The Spurned but the Indigo Brotherhood and the Priests of Innoruuk. The Spurned just don't like The Dead and the dark elven queen because they regard The Spurned as inferior. Anyway no factions in Neriak are allied all the houses fight each other for the rule over Neriak.

I just looked at King Tearis Thex's entry. He is oviouslythe High Elf King, so I guess that would make Ayhtox the Dark Elf King. I bet the Dark Elf's lower faction for killing them though.

Who is this? If it is the High Elf King, why does doing Dark Elf quest's raise faction with him. On the other hand, killing verious Dark Elves also raises faction with him, so he probiblyisn't the Dark Elf King either. Help!

Innoruuk created the Dark Elves by capturing the Ruler of the High-elves (Tunare's representatives on Norrath) long ago, and used his evil magic to change/pervert them into the Dark-Elves. This would explain why the ruling families of both races share the same namesake.

King Aythox Thex is the Dark Elf King.

Queen Christanos Thex is the Dark Elf Queen.

They are opposed with each other. Aythox is with the non followers of Innoruuk(Rogues, Mages, Enchandter, Wizards, Warriors) and Christanos is with The Dead(Necros and SKs)

Killing an NPC with TheDead faction nets you Aythox faction.

Killing a DE mage npc would net you Christanos faction.

They are just opposed to each other.

King Tearis Thex is the High Elf King. Killing high elves lowers your faction with him.
