Just kill the Rodent's all over in the City. Anykind of Rat Whiskers will work, also from other Citys.
Dialogue after handing in 4 of the whiskers:

I get apprehensive when i talk to my mage guild master in felwith, so she won't raise my skills. How can i improve my faction?

i went along playing with my chanter, got bored and thought hmm lets play with illusions. Didn't get in a fight with guards or anything like that, so i went along to the bank which i wanted to make a deposite. Opened the bank window.... 2 seconds later the Banker ran infront of the counter and WHAM!!! i got hit bad for i wasnt a high lvl either but had a long run to pok book and there i was 200hp left, to live LOL

I recently have started an ogre warrior whom I want to fight on the side of the light. So I've done a lot of painful faction work to get non KoS to guards in Felwithe, Kelethin, and Kaladim. I'm use to merchants being dubious but I figured I should still be able to use a bank, so I stroll into Felwithe Hold and get attacked...by the banker!! I shout out "Banker to zone!" and after much derision escape with a bubble of health.
So I did a little research. After reading this board I saw Anti-Mage and Merchants of Felwithe were the two suspected factions for bankers. Since Anti-Mage is easy to get up (bone chips to clerics guild) I play with that one first. 10 stacks of chips later (and a faction raise with the clerics) I go check the banker.
/shout Banker to zone!
Okay, Anti-Mage has been done so he must be on Merchants of Felwithe faction. So I look at the paper boy near zone out, and he is dubious while banker is glaring.
Enough is enough! I ask a friend with an evil character to check out the banker. Said friend killed banker and reported the following faction hits:
Minus Merchants of Felwithe
Minus Anti-Mage
That means the banker is on Merchants of Felwithe and there is a link between Merchants and Anti-Mage. Testing this theory I wandered into a miscellaneous shop and conned a merchant. Dubious. I start looking at another merchant when I'm suddenly attacked by Merchant Nora!
/shout Merchant to zone!
Therefore I believe there are TWO merchant factions in Felwithe: Merchants of Felwithe and Anti-Mage. My ogre is currently dubious to Anti-Mage, and Glaring KoS to Merchants.
Perhaps the background story is that there is a group of merchants in Felwithe that are tired of the arrogant casters and they have banded together to make life difficult for those people. Or maybe they mean anti-magician specifically, and are annoyed at mages for creating their own goods and not buying real stuff and therefore charge more to them.
Regardless, I believe that is the situation here. I believe Anti-Mage is a second merchant faction in Felwithe.

I too am glared at by the banker, even after 50 stacks of bone chips, but I am dubious to all the other merchants. I am DE chanter. Hmmm...I dont think they like ogres more then DE, so I imagine it will take a bit more then 10 stacks to get them to like you. By the way all merchants start at dubious, unless you lowered your merchant faction...

I do not think you are right about that. I created my ogre warrior (agnostic) specifically to have a fatty in a good guild so I have been EXTREMELY careful about factions. I have take 0 hits on either Anti-Mage or Merchants of Felwithe. Therefore you can start out glaring to merchants.

Actually, despite her name, Merchant Nora is not a merchant. She's just a quest NPC who stands in a shop. The fact that she is not actually a merchant means that if she is on the merchant's faction in Felwithe she won't have the normal merchant faction floor of dubious. Instead she will react in the normal mannner that an NPC would react for a given faction group.
Let me explain. Merchants in EQ generally have a "faction floor" of dubious. The group they are on might actually have a lower faction than that with you, but they'll never "con" lower than "dubious" to a player anyway. This seems to have been set up that way to reduce the numbers of merchants who chase off after players and wind up off their spawn spot. As you've probably noticed, merchants don't work right when they move too far away from their spawn points.

I am 37 Iskar Shaman that made the mistake of visiting Crushbone a bit ago with a pet. A slave aggroed on me and Pet waxed it. I didnt thing much about it at the time, but it appears to have ruined my faction with both Kelethin merchants and banker. Currently, the guards con amiable while the merchants are dubious and the banker still wants to rip out my gizzard. My question is simple. Will increasing this faction allow me to bank in Kelethin? If not, what will?

It's like Iksar Necro faction.... you can raise Warriors and Monks faction easily, but you still gotta worry about the Necros/ShadowKnights/Shamans

Besides, WHAT is a loyal Iksar of Cazic-Thule doing working to get those ssoft-sskin scums to like you.

i heard the Banker in Kelethin is on the Scouts of Tunare faction
The banker at Kelethin is on Merchants of Kelethin faction. The only banker on a rogue faction is the one in Halas.
Since merchants bottom out at Dubious, but bankers don't, the merchants are Dubious to you even though the banker is KOS and they are on the same faction.
If you get high enough faction with the Warrior guild they will give you a quest that will eventually raise Merchants of Kelethin faction - and eventually the banker will no longer attack you.

Not true. The banker is indeed a scout. My lizzie monk has "fixed" all factions in Kelethin except the scout and he is stil kos to the banker. He is not kos to merchants.

You are not KOS to the merchants because they are merchants, and nobody is KOS to merchants. Faction with merchants can't ever get any lower than Dubious, and it doesn't matter what faction the merchants themselves are on.
Do quests enough to get your faction with the Merchants of Kelethin to "Apprehensive" and you will see that your faction with the banker will also be "Apprehensive".
People have actually done this, you know - and it worked for them. It will work for you, too.

Does it hurt ur faction with mages because its "anti-mage"? because i asked on the server i play on and someone said it was a TierDal faction...im confused and dont want my own guild master to hate me as i am a mage...just need to kno before i make any rash disicions

There is a Woodelf that asks for Legionare shoulder pads and 1 or 2 deathfist slashed belts in West Freeport. You give her 10 gold plus the items and she gives you anti mage faction.

The Anti-mage faction is the faction that the Paladin's of Felwithe use. If you are a Paladin and plan on doing the Silent Watch Quest, you need this faction.

One time in lake rathe i was a 24 druid bored nothing to do, so i swam around a little, i found something called a Royal fish. it coned amiably and green, when i killed it it gave me bad faction with Kingtearisthex and Anti-mage, then it said "you feel the hatred of an entire race upon your shoulders" so far nothing unusual happened...

You can also get faction by doin the orc runner quest in Felwithe.Plus anti-mage that is.

I'm pretty sure you can also get it by turning in 4 bat wings to the newbie magician trainer in the magician guild in Felwithe. Impsomething is her name.
Niola Impholder in Southern Felwithe in the Magician guild. Walk in the building, first right, first left. Give her four batwings and she gives you faction with Keepers of the Art, I do not believe Anti-mage. Anti-mage, the Paladin guild,is opposed to evil, therefore the skeletons in the bone chip quest, I do not think they view bats as evil, just as a living creature lowbies slaughter for experience.

You can get faction with Bracer of Battle/Screaming Mace quest in Crushbone, or the sister necklaces quest (kill Nybright sisters in Lesser Faydark and give all four necklaces to the drunkard in Kelethin). You can find the drunkard near Sparkling Glass, and the elven priest in the slaver house with the dwarven smiths.
