The Clerics of Tunare can be found in the High Elf City of Northern Felwithe. The Paladins under the guidance of Guildmaster Tynkale can be found out front in a large hall, and around back a small hall is reserved for the Clerics under Guildmaster Yeolarn Bronzeleaf. The members of this fine guild dedicated to the Mother of All, Tunare, support The Elven King Tearis Thex and a mysterious faction called Anti-Mage. The Paladin Lord Jyleel is in charge of a secret elven order called the Koada'Vie and not all of their tasks would normally be associated with Paladins.
The following quests require Clerics of Tunare faction
Well, after lots of running around and killing things in a futile attempt to fix my faction with my own Guild Trainer in Felwithe, I've found a way! I tried charming with a chanter and received exp but no faction hits. I tried illusion potions before and after this most recent patch claiming faction with illusion was fixed. Nothing has worked for me. My faction with Clerics of Tunare was KOS (Scowls, ready to attack!).
Nothing has worked for me until now. Yes, and YOU TOO can do this easily! Assumming of course your faction with the casters in Felwithe is still moderately ok... And here's how:
Doing the muffin turn in to Pandos in West Freeport should do the trick, but I was KOS to Pandos also. Not a lot of info on Pandos or what his faction is. He is DEFINITELY on Champions of Faydark faction. I fixed my Champions of Faydark faction by turning in batwings to Niola (the Mage Trainer in Felwithe). I turned in roughly 120 stacks of batwings 4 at a time (must be 4 and unstacked). This was enough to get my faction with Pandos to Dubious (I did check after 60 stacks but was at Threatening).
With my faction to Pandos to Dubious I was able to hand him muffins. I was at Max Ally faction after about 90 stacks of muffins. I finished off the additional 30 stacks of muffins and then went back to Felwithe to check my faction with Yeolan and Elia the Pure... Ally to both, as well as the pally guild.
Now I can feel good about using my Faithstone of Tunare! WOOD!
I have just done this myself, I proclaim it to be 100% true and doable! Due to a visit to the POG with a guild raid, my faction was SHMUT! I couldn't even walk through my own home town, damn Ella the Pure.. Anyway.. You need a DRUID whom has INVISIBILITY and HARMONY, a big ole bag of MUFFINS and a bit of time. You have the druid harmony Pandos. Then you grab a stack of 4 muffins and SLOWLY walk toward Pandos until you get a trade window. Once you get the trade window you have the druid INVISI you. Once your invisi you hand him the rest of the muffins, (4 staks of 4). You will see the factions fly right by. Then you need to drop your INVISI, hand him 4 more muffins, have your druid friend invisi you again, fill the trade window, GIVE them to him and repeat.. I WORKS, I have done this my self today, May 31, 2002..
He will NOT trade to you if you are INVISI.. He will NOT trade to you as a wolf.. (You retain whatever faction you have)
Once you have gotten your faction to Threateningly (SP) with him you no longer need INVISI, and once he is Doubiously you no longer need HARMONY..
Why on earth is the PoG affiliated anyway with the non-planar faction? I mean you can go to the Plane of Fear, smack Cazic worshippers and underlings all day long and be at the same time Cazic worshipper yourself, and you will not be KOS in your hometown/guild. You can go to Hate and spank Innoruuk and his goons around and you will not be KOS in your hometown and guild. You can go to the Plane of Mischief and still, you will not be KOS to Bristlebane. And yet the sucker Tunare home plane is ONLY one, which screws you up on the plane (can't care less about that), but ALSO on the "ground". Stupid...
PoG is a velious era plane, PoH and PoF are not. I believe that it is possible all new planes in PoP will have diety related factions, though I'm really hoping not unless VI vendors lower the cost of invis potions =P
Because Innoruuk and Cazic-Thule are evil, and have no problem killing their own worshipers out of pure Hate or to inspire Fear. Bristlebane is probably too whimsical (or drunk) to care. Tunare, however, respects her worshipers, and will gladly harm those who cross her.
I mean, if you're allied with Tunare, anyway... why would you want to attack her and her creations in her home plane?
Anti-Mage + Koada'Vie = SUPPOSEDLY the Felwithe Paladin's Guild
Soldier's of Tunare = The Kelethin Druid's Guild, I'm sure of this one
Emerald Guardians = Kelethin Warrior's Guild, also both Kelethin AND Felwithe guards
Champions of the Faydark = Felwithe Ranger's Guild, sure on this too
Clerics of Tunare = Aint this obvious?
Keepers of the Art = Felwithe pure caster's guilds, sure on this too
Scouts of Tunare = Kinda obvious, Rogue's guild
There is also a faction that I have seen in some quest, I'm sorry, I don't remember wich or if it even exists still, that RAISES faction with Felwithe AND Kelethin merchants. I've seen Ogres who try to get faction with Kelethin to bank/sell/be gaped at newbies in, but they can only sell at the guilds, and its a pain to buy food and water. Sorry that I dont remember!

I find it rather stupid of Verant to link the wizard epic with faction of Tunare. After several PoG raids my faction is completly screwed and thus unable to continue my epic. Is there any other way to rebuild faction with damn Tunare besides killing DE clerics? On a side note worshipers of Tunare still deserve to die (but that will be postponed for a but while I rebuild faction).
It's my understanding that PoG faction is completely different than Soldiers of Tunare, Clerics of Tunare, etc. It's also my understanding that at this time, there is no known way to raise PoG faction. Hopefully, I'm wrong.
My question though is why in the world does a Wood Elf Druid of Tunare only stand at Amiable Faction to Tunare herself? /shrug

"So if the Cleric is tanking, does that mean the Warrior has to heal?"
If you are trying to do a faction quest with an NPC who is kos (so wont do the quest) and the min faction is Indiff, AND the mob is too low to attack you, put the stuff in the trade window while grouped with a caster and have them invis you AFTER you have the stuff in the slots-- Did this on my Tunare worshiping chanter *hands head in shame* to do the Red Wine Quest in Neriak since the merchants were Dub. Just gotta have them invis you AFTER you have the items in the slot, then hit trade and do it again (hitting trade breaks the invis but you get the faction).

To the druid who, like me, finds the slaying of corrupt guards not only a service to our Goddess Tunare but a great time, you CAN still turn in muffins to Pandos. Just invis until you get to him. He is not on the same faction. I am quite KoS to guards, but was amiable to Pandos until I turned in 4 stacks of 4 muffins over and over. Took about three 10-slot backpacks of muffins to max my faction.
As for those that fought in the Plane of Growth;
You have a very long road ahead of you. Your only options, to slay DE clerics in Neriak 3rd Gate. Do not be suprised to find that it may take many weeks of this to even attain a 'threat' con from scowling. I spent 10 weeks factioning to change faction from Kael to CoV and I could kill a lot more giants (due to faster spawn time and more spawns in general) than you might be able to kill DE's in Neriak 3rd Gate.
To those of you thinking about killing Tunare's creatures in PoG and are followers of Tunare;
One faction hit takes you from amiable to indifferent, second faction hit drops you to apprehensive, I am not sure if third faction hit will drop one down to dubious as the person that relayed this info decided not to press his luck after dropping 2 factions with 2 kills.
I am working hard to help a friend who is KoS to Clerics of Tunare. This is going to take forever! Unless you have your epic already or care not about being KoS to your own guild, heed the warning if you are a follower of Tunare. Forget about PoG! To those that have already found this out the hard way, my condolences.

well after having Tunare faction totally screwed after a PoG raid, i decided to go and try the muffin quest in freeport. i found the dorf exactly where he was mentioned to be, but when got there, he was scowling, and attacked soon after. i then went to crushbone to kill as many a orc as i could find, hoping pandos would be on that faction as well, up to the point that i got to ally with faydarkchampions again. happy as a puppy i went back to freeport with 8 backpack o' muffins for pandos, only to see him still scowling and a second later him attacking me again in full force. (wolf didnt work either as was said before) i am still trying to find a way to solve this problem, as i'm not in the mood to go solo dark elves in neriak hehe. this is one mean **** of a faction quest, but there's got to be a way, else a few classes wouldnt be able to do their epic after a goofup like PoG =) best of luck to those who suffer the same problem.
Rebuilding your faction is a bit difficult since all of the quests that raise those factions, involves you dealing with an NPC that has that faction and will attack you if you approach.
If you have already gone to the PoG or already are KoS with Faydarks Champions, then you can kill many many Crushbone Orcs to try and raise your faction to other than scowls.
If you are not KOS to Faydarks Champions you can go to West Freeport and do the Muffin for Pandos Quest. Find Pandos Flintside, a dwarf on the second floor in the Hogcaller's Inn in West Freeport. Give him about 800 to 2000 store bought muffins (the most efficient way is put 4 stacks of 4 muffins in each of the trade window slots) and you will raise your faction to him (and therefore Faydarks Champions {the rangers}) to ally. It will also raise your faction to the Clerics of Tunare and Soldiers of Tunare, but I have not checked if you get to ally with all three at the same rate.
Muffins can still be purchased in East Karana or FV, and there may be other places.
I am not sure how much of a buffer you have if you are ally nor how quickly you will lose your faction by killing on PoG.
There is nothing you can do to repair your faction with PoG
Ellia the Pure is a 50(according to Allakhazam) Cleric of Tunare. She is a turn-in NPC for the Paladin Epic weapon. Killing in PoG makes you KOS to cleric and paladin guild of Felwithe. Not sure on any other guilds, however. I got bit by a Foloal Stormforest in Firiona Vie last week while wandering around naked waiting on rezz. She came out of no where so I dont know who she is afiliated with but strong guess is PoG.
As a Tunare Druid, I went to PoG with my guild, but only grouped with other non-KOS people in PoG. We scouted, healed and buffed BETWEEN kills.
I accidently cast regrowth on a cleric during a kill, I thought the mob was dead, and I took a faction hit for it. Immediately went and did a little over 2000 muffins and my factions "couldn't possibly be better" with the Clerics of Tunare, etc.
My advise ... DO NOT BUFF, HEAL, etc. during a kill, you WILL take a faction hit. Do not even drag a corpse there, you will be attacked.

ok just to clear some things up about priests of tunare and the priests of innoruuk. First, if you belong to one then the other already hates you, so dont be afraid to lose facion you dont have. secondly, even if you could get the faction for the opposite group, why would you want it? they are in total opposition to one another. the priests of innoruuk have absolutely nothing to offer a priest of tunare except maybe an express ticket to hell. (ya come get yours). you been whining when you shoulda just bucked up and accept it. try playing a de clerics faction and find out just how much of those cool items you have are not available to us because of faction. all anyone can say is get used to it and i did. so quit whining and save the space for informative posts
The Tier'dahls can be pulled in MM on south wall to raise faction with Clerics of Tunare.. All the posts on handing in muffins, or doing any of the other turn in quests will not work with any method that I am aware of.. including wolf form, invis, and now the 10 sec nerf of indifference is gone again.. To my way of thinking, unless someone else has some other info out there, if you are KoS to Clerics, then the only way to raise it is to kill the Tier'dahs, and the third gate dark elf clerics in Neriak.. If someone out there has any other way of raising faction.. without turning in items to npcs that you are kos to.. I would like to know of them.. Dusklar 60th High Priest
I have an Iksar Monk. I used Wolf form and sneak to hand muffins to Pandros. It was very easy to do. Once i was dubiously to Pandros, my Iksar was able to hand over muffins, without a wolf form. I have handed in bonechips in the Felewithe Clerics guild hall with him, in his normal Iksar form. My Ogre Beastlord has also used the Wolf form method to hand in muffins to Pandros. The only reason Wolf form would not work, is if you have gotten yourself that far into KoS with your bad faction.
While helping a guilde work on his chanter epic we had to kill a lvl 60 cleric in the 3d gate (she was really not tough. only a group of 6 took her out) but anyway, we killed all the guards there as well. ALL gave positive ClericsofTunare faction. Get 1 high level tank and you (the cleric/healer) and kill inkey guards (green to me at 56) in the 3dr gate till you are sore. should get you past KOS to indef. then you can do the muffin quest.
I am a lvl 51 high elf mage and I went to the pog a few nights ago. Intending to do the muffin quest when I get back I didnt really give it too much thought. Well I now find I am kos to Pandos so I cant give him the muffins. Having read that I can still bank in Felwithe I went there last night to bank. I conned every NPC i saw on the way in and nothing seemed to have changed. Im still amiable to all the guards and the merchants still love me too. The banker conned indifferent so I went in.
Bad move...
Before I could react an NPC called Ellia the Pure came right through the wall from the cleric guild and took half my hp in one round and one cast. Im not sure what spell she hit me with but it had the same particle effect as my shock of swords.
I turned and ran but didnt make it more than 10 foot before I was dead.
I cant find any info on this NPC she is not listed anywhere in any beastiary I can find. If anyone knows anything please pose it here.
So for those high elves of you who are thinking of a pog raid, think carefully. You cannot bank in your home town after this, and I have yet to find a way to raise my faction back...
I have noticed that you can heal a warrior fighting a Frost Giant in the GD and not receive the faction from them. You have to do damage or cast a small spell on them to gain the faction. I am wondering how the faction works in the Plain of Growth? Do you received faction no matter what? Being in the group, healing one that is fighting or do you need to do some sort of damage on them as in the GD?
High Elf Cleric wanting to adventure into the PoG.
Well i have tried this and i have to say it works but it may be a bug or an exploit im not too sure but this is a warning, IF YOU GET BANNED FOR THIS DON'T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNNED and please don't came back here trashing me for it, like i said it may be one of the above and it could get you banned but i would hope that the GM's would have the respect to warn you first off so you can stop.
Ok a short while back the "10 secound indifferent zone or log in" was put in place, what this does is gives you a 10 secound totally indifferent to any and ALL NPC's(including MOB's) right after you zone in or log in to an area no matter what your faction is, so if you are KOS to the Pandos guy all you have to do is invis, sit there with a set of 4 muffins in hand and log out, log back in and give him the muffins and there you go, good faction(unless you like Orcs) if your fast you can give him like 2,3 or even the full 4 stacks of mufins each being 4 in one stack and you will get faction hits for the Clerics of Tunare and well as a few others in Greater Faydar. I am trying with my Dark Elf right now and i have given him about 220 muffins in total so far but im still KOS so i can't say how many one will need but maybe its like 500 or more ,,sorry im just not sure yet.
Hope the info helps, only thing is the Plane of Growth faction might be a real hard one to erase so if you have taken a few hits it may be too late, i was told that Brad McQuade said there is a time that you can't go back when your faction has taken a REALLY bad hit so if you have killed there it might be that you will never get the chance to get it back but if you were KOS and use this idea please post back what you were and how long it took to get on there good side. Thanks and take care
