Pirates of Iceclad

The Pirates of Iceclad Ocean, the gnomes found from North Ro through to the Icy Fingers of Iceclad.

They are a vengeful bunch, as it is rumoured that killing even one of these little gnomes will place you on their "kill on sight" list.

Went back to test this now that faction changes are listed.

when handing in the beard, your faction standing with Pirates of Iceclad has been adjusted by 2 ( during double faction period).

I have spent about 20 hours farming again in iceclad for these. i ended up gettign 12 to reach 25 total. No faction change yet so they are worth less than 20 each upon hand in.
less than 40

handed in the other 3 beards bringing total to 13. i am still amiable and still kindly with collaboration. so each beard is worth less than 40 points. had they been worth 40 i could see myself maxxing faction in 90 hours work. if they are only 20 - its 180 hours. just isnt going to happen. /em shakes head.
yuck to this faction

spent the day here. got 10 beards to hand in. started amiable ( had turned in some before). with colaboration i was kindly. since kindly is a 500 point span, turning in 5 beards to raise to warmly would have meant 100 points per beard. that didnt work out. turning in 10 neards would have made it 50 points per beard. that too didnt work. after 10 beards I was still amiable and kindly with collaboration. so each beard is worth under 50 points. if 13 raised faction one level then it would be 40 points per beard. so ill go back for 3 more tomorrow

You can kill "a frost giant scout" loot the lore no trade beard and turn them into a small Gnome on the Ice flow named *Ritap*. It is a long slow process but your do get a + faction hit for the turn in.

The turning in of the beards is part of another quest .. but, it is all I have found so far to boost > Pirates of Iceclad < faction.

Be Safe & Good Luck !

In my younger days as a erudite mage I went to Akanon to kill the mechanic. (Hehehe nice exp that is)
I am wondering now if these gnome pirates are going to kick me around for killing their distant cousin a couple of thousand times when I want to use their boat to get to Velious?
Do they hold any related faction with Akanon?
Also do they hold faction as pirates with other pirates?
All info greatly appreciated thanks.

Nope. As with all Velious factions, actions that happen away from Velious have no effect here. Just like the frogloks in Guk don't seem to care that you killed their Kunarkian cousins. In a world without telphones or E-mail, distant relatives can't communicate easily. Kill all the gnomes you like, these pirates won't care, until you kill one of them specifically.

I am a wonderful Gnomish Wizzy of the 31st circle of short jokes, who worships Brell Serilis!

I go over to their igloos and party with these guys! Its like a second home for me, with great skiing.

As soon as i figure out how to make Triple Strength Rum, then the party will really get started!
