With the LDoN update, does this faction have more importance? How does this faction relate to the new breed of orcs?

Most, if not all, Orcs in North Ro are apparently no longer on this faction, since killing them now gives the same faction hits as killing Orcs in the Commons and Misty Thicket. These changes went in at about the same time as the Freeport newbie armor quests were added. I'm not sure about the Orcs in the other zones mentioned here, though.

Has anyone seen this kind of Orc? I have- in the Kethlin zone. What's so different from this Orc? He/she (must make sure we're Politically Correct nowadays!) walks around with torch in one hand - sometimes accompanied with another Orc with a name like 'Gunlo Basklin'?
Please let me know what's so special about this arsonist?

He drops something for a Kelethin newbie quest, although I forget which one. He's a Crushbone Orc and not affiliated with this faction.

Increase Faction Standing

I play a Dark Elf and discovered the hard way, that my faction standing with the Orcs dropped by 6. Now I am the lucky reciepient of brutal attacks and mockery whenever I see an Orc. As a Dark Elf, newbie, it would be nice to reestablish a better standing with what is supposed to be one of the allies the Dark Elves have. How is this done? The only answer I recieved so far, is increase in levels. Well, this sucks, as I would have to wait until I was at least lvl 40 before I could intimidate even the strongest Orc and I still couldn't buy a cup of brew at the Orc city.
Any other advice would be most welcome.

get a nice high lvl char like myself to kill all the freeport millita that you see. Some high lvl people will do it for free some (the ones mostly with there epics) will just be jerks. And some will even train them onto you. Watch out for them but every once in a while you find someone nice and hell even giveyou the loot.

No, no Freeport faction from Generic Orc. However, it is not too dangerous for you to venture into the commons. My own Iksar Monk, Xthasi, started hunting there almost immediately after getting her Curscale. You just have to keep your eyes open and stay well away from the inns, since that is where the guards hang out. The only wanderer is Slate, and he'll be a contant threat until your fifties. Slate tends to stick to the paths on his patrols so if you see him elsewhere it's because some foolish person has pulled him away. Just the other day, Slate came dashing through Orc 1 for some reason, and I nearly had a heart attack. Fortuanely I'd had Feign Death for a couple of levels already, and he was only threatening.
As far as Slate, Tolus and Reskin go though, remember taht they are on Freeport militia faction, and killing Deathfist orcs does not affect this faction. My tip to you is to skulk around the peripheries of the commons, camping Orc 1 and 2 until you are no longer KOS with the Knights of Truth (which doesn't take as long as you'd think). Check KoT faction by going to North Freeport through the sewers (see EQ atlas Evil race travel guide). You should be able to see one of the pallys from the sewers...but if not don't be afraid to stick your neck out a little. Once you're up to dubious with the KoT you should find that you're apprehensive to the Ashen Order (FP monks). It should now be possible, through careful use of sneak (and maybe the assistance of a mule) to do the Rebby's Whiskers quest for the rogue guild. This quest also increases Militia faction.

You don't. However, it is possible to raise Deathfist Orcs by killing some named halflings. Din't know why you'd want to do this, though. Other than not getting attacked by orcs, there's not much advantage to having good orc faction. Everybody starts out KOS to pretty much all orcs. Only exception is dark elves, and only among Crushbone orcs. DEs are still KOS to the Deathfist and generic orcs.

You should have a section on this page, to be able to search by level. I have a hard time knowing and finding out a good place to hunt at any specific level.

A Orc

I have taken both a orc warrior, and an orc warrior, neither is that hard, you must be thinking of A Orc, those are the harder orcs.

What you saw was "AN" orc warrior..."A" orc warrior is alwayts between lvl 20-22 if ya dont beleive me jump on "A" orc warrior and prepare to die (500-650 hps)

Err well first also orc priests in Oasis and Orc Raiders in Nro belong to this faction. Also at level 12 I have seen a blue orc warrior so the level range is obviously not 20-22.
