When you hunt the merchants to raise faction with goblins do you loose faction with anything in Erudin

Why does killing select Merchant's from Erudin raise Solusek Goblin faction? And also, why are their a few Clockwork's in Ak'Anon alligned with the Solusek Goblins? I think someone submitted some false info just for laugh.... I don't know for sure though.
