I´ve been away from EQ for quite some time (playing the evil Blizzard game *g*) and have forgotten too much :(.
I just wanted to ask which buff-combo is best for soloing (self buffs only). I remenber some buffs will overwrite others and some will not stack. Can anyone please give me a quick update? I´m level 72 atm.
Any help would be nice. I feel like an noob right now... but, hey... what can you do? *g*

Self buffs? There are no stacking issues with your own spells. Cast your highest level HP/AC buff (lvl 70 Affirmation), your highest level Brell's (lvl 70 Brell's Brawny Bulwark) and your best self only shielding buff (lvl 69 Armor of the Champion). If you don't have all your spells use your highest one from each line.
Stacking only becomes an issue with other class buffs. Your Brell's hp buff will not stack with Beastlord or Ranger hp/atk buffs. Your hp/ac buff won't stack with the better cleric versions. Your self only shielding buff won't stack with druid hp buff.
Also when soloing you may want to have your self only buff on that converts mana to hp over time (Breath of Tunare). It's added hp regen. You'll be using the Ward of Tunare lvl 70 self buff a lot when soloing if you have it. The weapon proc buffs are a must too, Pious Fury or Silvered Fury.
Then grab some Distillate of Skinspike potions and haste potions to be good to go.

Ahhh... the pieces of the puzzle are falling back into place ;).

The "stacking issue" I refered to was with Affirmation and Symbol. Affirmation of course, being the better choice, overwriting the Symbol. And there was a little problem with one of my clicky buffs not taking hold... feels kind of stupid to relearn all that *g*
