Classes: The Shadowknight

Shadowknights - The evil warriors. A combination of fighter and necromancer, the shadowknight is a complex class to develop and play correctly.

What is the best strategy to develop and play your shadowknight? Can the shadowknight solo, and if so how? How should you play a shadowknight in a group? What skills and spells are the most and least useful for the shadowknight? What items should you be seeking for your shadowknight?

Post your strategies on how to best play and develop the Shadowknight and read, rate and comment on what others have to say

Hi, I am wondering what you all think would be a better box for a Shaman ? SK or Warrior ? I like that SK's can heal themselves with taps, but I know their DPS is lacking so the kills would probably take abit. Warriors seem slightly better DPS so kills would probably be faster, but then would not really have a puller if I went with War/Sham. I know that SK's/Warriors weren't made to dish out damage, but I don't want to take forever just to kill 1 mob. Thanks

I pull using scowl2 on my warrior and rarely have adds. Most peopel dont think a warior can pull as most jsut use a bow and handle the circumstances.

You may have already chosen your profession by now, but at level 50 on the shaman you get a spell, spirit of the puma. It will drastically help with dps as it goes off quite often. You can always get the mob slowed, then dot the crap out of it with the shaman too. I box a shaman/shadow knight and I wouldn't trade it for a warrior/shaman combo ever. Previously I had tried a warrior/shaman combo and found it to be lacking, plus warrior was extremely boring for me. I had a aggro over time disc I could use every 30 seconds or so, and constantly had to taunt mobs that were beating my shaman.

With my shadow knight I can grab great aggro when pulling, and maintain it throughout the fight on multiple mobs without difficulty. I use the shadow knight to tank, and the shaman to dps. This combo has worked great since I started it, sk lvl 54 now, shaman 62.

*Wanted to add in that most mobs won't take long to kill with the sk/shaman combo pre 50 so dps won't be a major issue.
