i was woundering what are rogues i have never been one myself,are they good soloers? are they good in a group what is there main thing.
i just wanted know what are rogues what do they do, i just need some info please.

I'm at work and I'm bored so I'll answer this.
Rogues are, for lack of a better word, Thieves.
They pick locks and pockets.
They are terrible solo'ers.
Their job in a group is to backstab mobs (special rogue only
attack from behind only) and to dish out as much damage as
possible.
Rogue's make poison to apply it to weapons.
Rogue's have hide and sneak which makes them invisible
to almost all mobs, and can therefore move around
most zones with ease at a slow pace (they are sneaking after
all)
I have a 60 Rogue with his Epic that I mess around with
sometimes and have a good time doing it.
--note Rogues have a very easy Epic (Ragebringer) to obtain.
It took me less than 4 days to do the whole thing
and I didn't spend all my play time doing it.
--another note. Rogue's can get illusion masks that only they
and bards can use. Not always really useful, but still cool
to have.

Rogue's get "combat evasion" which means that in a fight if something
starts beating on you, turn off auto-attack and hit your "hide"
hot button. If you are lucky you will clear aggro and can go back to
backstabbing. This only works if someone else is tanking the mobs. It does
no good if soloing.
