Im going to be starting a berserker and i dont have a weapon for him to use so if anyone has some advice for a half decent starting weapon preferably in the 100-500pp range it would be appreciated.

You can sometimes get lucky with a War Marshal's Bladed Staff for under 500p. It's fast with no required level.
Warmarshal's bladed staff only has one problem, recommended level. Mine is using an Ornate Rune Blade I think it is called right now, not too bad damage for lower levels and decently quick. Has been since level one. Cheap, or easy to farm. City of Mist I think is where it drops, got one on my zerker, sk, and pally right now so they aren't uncommon drops, at least not for me. Hope that will help you out.

Reaver. 40/40 No rec/req level. Will probably run you more like 5k though depending on server.
My lil 9 zerker has been using A Mithril Two-Handed Sword and a Di'Zok Imperial Katana.
Katana at this level seems to do onlt 1 pt more max (damn you damage cap! lol 25 is hardest hit with 255 str unbuffed)

but of course on Bertox they cost 5x more than they should and go for 20k
