im lvl 31 and don't ahve the best gear and wondered if there is a place to solo that might be decent xp. not fantastic but ok. i tried crystal caverns but ended up getting one to many adds. Any advice?
I'd go to The Overthere, lots of room to kite and mobs from 20 to 49; in three or four levels, you could also go and try the Gulf of Gunthak. If you got TSS expansion, Blightfire Moors would be the right zone for you.

Yeah OT can be good into the high 30s and beyond if you know where to hunt.
I'd try Iceclad Ocean too. It's a hotzone and you can use the translocator at the gnome pirate camp to bail out if you get in trouble.

I would suggest Dawn Shroud can solo there till about 36th lvl comfortably your 34th lvl pet proc is insain there also for faster kills the poison one keep it up great class. From your friendly Bsty of the 75th Season ( Ghoast-7th Hammer) Diligence !!

Try the undead in Gunthak. They don't run, so they won't be a problem with adds, so long as you play intelligently.
gunthank will be hard at level 31, i tried when my beast was 34, granted he had averagely bad gear though

follow the Hotzones always stay 5 lvls ahead and ur exp will be good :) head for mesa in the low 40's for the armor quest's they are nice upgrades if u don't have better stuff :)..Jegg
